Any skin/hair care products people would recomend? I have sensitive skin and am finding my skin and hair are really dull at the moment. Are there any natural products which anyone here finds are good for helping for healthy skin and hair?Ta! Jax IP: Logged |

Hi, Have you tried use avocado, egg, or natural honey in your hair? or skin. I do it and you will love it. May I ask what color is your hair? If don't dye your hair but would like to bring out your natural color there are other things you can do like for blonds washing your hair out with chamomile.Take Care Muse1 IP: Logged |

This is what I do I take a small avocado and make pure out of it put it in my hair w/ egg or honey or both . If you have dark brown hair get henna, you will love it. I got mine from a traditional hindu store since they sell a lot of natural products. I did it about a week ago and my hair still feels good. Just read the instruction pretty well because it is quite lenghty some of them require to be boiled or simmer for about 1 hr or more . Then you can add egg or natural coffee it depends on how you want the color to come out. Well than you have to leave it on your hair anywhere from 1 to 3 hrs. I don't remember or you can use a hair heater or blow drier. The nice thing about it is that it makes your hair soft and strong even my boyfriend said it was soft like " baby hair". For the skin you may do several things if you can make pure out of avocado add honey, egg and a little bit of yoghurt. I would say please get the hoeny from a herbal or organic store it is important that it is the natural honey not the one that they feed sugar to the bees. Well avocado is rich in Vit E which is great for the skin. Can I ask you right now what do you normally do for your hair and skin? Maybe I could give some other tips if you don't want to use avocado or henna. Take Care. muse1 IP: Logged |

I probably can't gush about Burt's Bees products enough.. and NO I don't work for them http://www.burtsbees.com They are really environmentally friendly and give money to save forests and such. The ingredients are really basic and pure. ------------------ but you visit my sweetest dreams and you kindle all of my phantasies and you're right, it's your name that i scream ..don't you feel it, don't you hear me baby..

Hi!When my hair and nails seemed to need some help, I tried Horsetail capsules. It's a kind of vegetable silica, and within a month I noticed an improvement. Nothing is a miracle cure, but personally it works well enough for me that I have used it a couple times since, when I felt I was skimping on nutrition and it showed in my fingernails. Maybe you need to check out your diet with your doctor or naturopath and make sure you're getting the vitamins and minerals your body needs. cheers, Lunargirl IP: Logged |

Depending on your age and situation, acne could be caused by hormone changes, made worse by diet and stress.I wish I knew a miracle cure for it!! Bodies are laboratories; you have to gather info, then experiment on yourself by trying one new thing at a time-- or eliminating one thing at a time. I don't know what you've tried already, but if you cut down on stress, get more sleep, eat lots of good and raw foods, and keep your beauty/cleanliness routine to a simple minimum, that's a start. Maybe you can see a dermatologist, or consult a cosmetologist at a store for basic skin info (but beware, store employees are paid to sell stuff!!!). Hang in there-- it takes time but if you persist and keep trying you will find something that helps. Lunargirl IP: Logged |
