Hiya Ika,

Make sure you give yourself the two or three weeks you need for a complete recovery or you will be asking for trouble. I hurt my ankle many years ago and didn't wait for it to heal completely before getting back on it, and would end up with my leg in a plaster every six months till I couldn't take it anymore. Reiki and a superhuman effort at patience (for me, anyway ) made sure that I recovered completely. I have really strong ankles now...but my right one isn't nearly as slender as the left because of my silliness.

Is it your left or your right ankle? I'll send you some healing, but stay off it! If you're good, I bet you you'll be fine by May. You'll just have to figure out how to dance without too many practice sessions.

hmmm
well THAT sure won't work for me! I can't stay off it otherwise I will be kicked out of the groups. And plus, I didn't brea my ankle, I only strained/tore my ligaments. I got accupuncture on it on monday and then today, and the chinese herbalist doctor siad i could dance and do whatever i wanted on it. It fels fine it just is a little sore right now. So do you think I should still stay off it? That really sucks about your ankle, but at least its better now, hey?
It's my left ankle. THankyou very much aquamoon! you're very nice

Ika, a fracture would actually have needed less rest, since bones heal quick enough if you have a healthy diet. Ligaments take a while.
Maybe the acupuncture will help, get all the rest you can though. I hope it all works out for you. I'll send you healing, but I really do think you need to take it easy for a bit. Anyway, you seem to be staying positive, and that's always a good recipe for a miracle.
