Topic: My daughter needs your prayers

I am posting this here and in Free-for-all. Yesterday I took my younger daughter (just turned 17; Pisces Sun, Taurus Moon, Sag. Ascendant) to get a physical for her learner's permit and working papers. While examining her abdominal area, a "hard swelling" was discovered. Two other physicans were called in to examine and confirm it. Pregnancy isn't an issue because she isn't sexually active; she doesn't even have a BF. So...it was determined that there could be something abnormal growing in her uterus and an ultra sound was ordered for Monday morning.We were told that it "could just be fibroids". I know about these (had them) and I also know it is much more common in someone older, not 17-year-olds. I am so frightened for her I don't know what to do. PLEASE pray for her! Trying to cope with this new fear along with the ongoing problem my older daughter has been having as outlined in the "Need help/advice!" thread at the Free-for-all forum, is becoming more than I can handle. People around me are telling me to "not worry until I know what's going on", but this is my CHILD and I may as well be told not to breathe. I'm trying very hard to be strong for her because she too is terrified, but I'm only human.  Please, we need prayers, love and healing light sent our way. Thanks for listening.  IP: Logged |

 S to you and your daughter. I`m spending a lot of time on my knees praying for Majick and I will send prayers and lite out to you both. Being a Mom is the toughest job on earth as well as the most rewarding  Stand on your faith in the divine and take a moment to count your blessings & special memories with the girls. Recall your daughters first steps, the first words, the first public embarassment  . Share some special memories here and feel the love going out then back in to you.Fill your mind with these special memories & the positive energy will spill out liting the way to peace. Laugh about the memories & feel them. It helps sooth the jangles nerves & steadies the fear, I promise 
Also, make fun plans; plan that healthy future.... you will be so busy feeling the good stuff there won`t be much room for worry. May the God/Dess bless you and your daughters.

Hi Twinlady Juniperb gave you some excellent advice. You don't need now to be desperate and sad, what your daughters need is your optimism, you have to be the tower of strength to them. My mother always was that for me and this always gave me reassurance that everything will be alright if she said it will and that I can always lean on her if I stumble. I don't have much time now, so let me just say that I'm thinking of all of you and wishing that your daughters are well again. If it's any consolation, I had several cysts and polyps on my ovaries and I willed them away with the help of my purple plate. And they often burst by themselves. Most women have these things and they're usually benign. Nevertheless I'm no expert in these matters. It's good that your daughter is so young, it increases the chances that this has not grown into something serious yet. I'm sending her light and wishing her well. And to your older daughter as well. By the way, another scientific fact: prayers do help, it's official now, so the more the better  Sending you strength and , morgana IP: Logged |

TwinLady I am sending healing love and energy your daughter's way. I had fibroids and had them from a early age so your daughter could very well have Fibroids. Visualize the doctor telling you that the test has come back negative and doesnt indicate any problems for your daughter. See and hear him saying the words. I know it is easier said then done but try not to worry too much just surround your daughter with love. Please let us know how everything is Love JadeIP: Logged |
