I work for the meanest woman on Earth. She is controlling, selfish and rude. She writes our schedules and makes horrible demands of us, when a little compassion and forethought would yield a much more workable schedule. She antagonizes all of us....there are 40 pharmacists on staff and we all suffer equally, UNLESS you are one of her favorites.I have been praying that the Goddess and the Universe fill her with compassion, understanding, kindness and love. Please help me pray for this Miracle. She really needs these attributes on a personal level. She has become very sick the last 3 years and I believe it's because of how she treats all of us. So, I think she needs positive attributes in her life. I can't give her name for obvious reasons, but she is a Leo, so we can call her The Leo Boss for prayer's sake.

LTD---we work for the same woman! Small world!!The head of the company is such a nasty little lady...she is a multi-millionaire, but expects us to buy her a very expensive Christmas present every year, she even picks it out! My first year with this company a memo was distributed suggesting a minimum $25 donation per person for her gift! I was horrified...some of our employees are part-time, and some make very low wages, $25 is probably more than they spend on some relatives. If everyone gave it would have meant over $1500 for her gift...you know what most employees here get for a Christmas bonus? About $50. She's very, very cheap. Recently, one of our most devoted employees was diagnosed with cervical cancer and an imoperal tumor. She was bleeding profusely and rushed to the hospital...when Her Highness came in, one of my co-workers went to tell her. The Queen's verbatim reaction: "Well, there's nothing I can do...I can't find my checkbook." Now, I love Capricorns, I have a lot of Cap in me, but some of 'em just don't learn their Karma. Trillian.....your boss sounds like the twin sister of mine! Only mine is not a millionaire! Mine has similar comments, for instance, one of the pharmacists said, " Alot of people are looking for new jobs because of the schedule." and her comment was," Oh well, I can't stop them from leaving." My thought was "OH YES YOU CAN!!!"
Or, one of my dearest friends was diagnosed with breast cancer and needed time off, and the boss' comment was, " How long do you think you are going to be gone? The rest of us would like to get on with our lives!!!"Yikes, they both need help!!!! Lots of weeds to turn to flowers!!!!

May compassion bloom in the stoniest spaces! to these Dragon ladies, to crack that masonry. Let's just say I know someone similar... whose tragedy is, besides a lack of security and compassion (can't love self = can't love others), that no one has said NO to her for about 25 years. Now just think about that, the next time you see someone enabling a baby tyrant-- because tyrants grow if not awakened by authenticity and honesty and love. Grrrr.... this  growls!! I deal with people like this by being the kindest person in the world to them. Yes mam, no man, three bags full mam. Your hair looks so pretty today, oh you do such a great job, we are so lucky to have a boss like you. Not many people can pull this off like me but I LOVE doing it to people.I feel for you Very much LTD but hang in there!! I bet your co-workers understand how you feel and you can all be a great support to each other... and when you feel like she has done her dash...just picture her naked..  Naked!!!!!  She weighs 300+lbs and is about 5-3....double yikes!!!!Oh trust me, I have killed her with kindness and she sees herself as one of MY friends. She seeks me out for lunch and etc.....she just doesn't know how detrimental she is to the department. *sigh* Everyday, before I step into the building, I say, "please add compassion, understanding, kindness and love to her heart. Fill her dry lifeless heart with joy and love." As hard as I have been praying, I am sure she wonders why her heart is doing flips in her chest!!!!! ------------------
