so my dad and his gf made up, and left for their vacation yesterday. my husband is here for the week to be with me. we are staying at my dads which is a good thing, cause i needed it. i wont go into details. but...we brought our kitty here cause we are gonna be here a week. he was scared as cats usually are when they are in a new place (especially since there is a dog and a kitten here, but he seemed ok with them, the dog is really good with kitties). hes been hiding most of the time, till i sat him on my lap. we slept, and now today hes MISSING. we have searched everywhere, and i am ready to just cry but i am trying to be strong. i am very attached to my kitty, as is my husband. hes like our son. i am so worried and scared that he might have gotten out somehow! I CANT LOSE THIS KITTY! i am trying to be strong but i am dying inside. can anyone send me some light or something, send the kitty a prayer or whathaveyou, so that he will come out from wherever he might be... we searched everywhere, and im scared he might have gotten out. please do whatever you can. if he did get out is there a way to send him light to come home? *sigh* im just devastated... i need to know where he is i really need this week in many ways. i just cant have this time ruined because the kitty is missing. i need to use the advantages here to get some things in my life in order, and i CANT MOVE not knowing where he is! this is the first week in two months my husband and me have spent together too, and we really dont need to lose our beloved... we cant take much more misfortune please send kitty some light IP: Logged |

Try saying aloud that you are going home and if he/she doesnt come out he/she will have to stay there without you. Ok, this may sound strange but trust me, I've had cats forever. IP: Logged |

That is good advice that RubyRedRam gave you. Also When I first got my kitten she ran outside and I freaked out because she really ran with purpose (fast); she was scared too, you're kitty will come back when he's had a breather. IP: Logged |

Anafaery,Your kitty is probably just scared and hiding somewhere. Is it possible he can be hiding somewhere like under the house, or under a neighbor's house? When cats are afraid they find unusual places to hide. I had some work done on my apartment once and one of my cats went missing. She had ripped a hole on the underside of the bed and climbed into the part of the bed where the springs are located. Don't give up. When he is hungry he will probably come out as long as he is not threatened by the dog. I am sending a kitty angel to watch over him. Love and Light to you and your kitty, Heidi IP: Logged |

Here's a spell you could try. I'm not normally into spells, but this one is specifically for recalling missing dogs and cats.Place some food and milk or water in the pet's familiar bowls. Light a blue candle next to them and say: "My fair beauty gone astray Please come back to me today. With my yearning heart and wonder, Please come back to me from yonder." Afterward leave the candle to burn down, or snuff it out when your pet returns. I've never tried it, so don't know if it works. Love Gladeyes PS Light and love on the way as well. IP: Logged |

Anafaery, your kitty is as scared as you are . She`s probably hiding near by waiting for all the stressful activity to end. First you must be calm. She needs your calm Elf to feel secure enough to come out. One way to see if she`s in the house is to calm done the household at night, especially yours-elf. Put other four leggeds securely away and put her fav. food out. When you get up, you can see if she`s come out and ate. She will not come if you`re frantically calling for her tho. I am praying for her safe return and your peace of mind. The God/dess is watching over you both juniperb IP: Logged |

Anafaery Sending an to watch over your kitty until he returns safely home to you. For what it's worth...years ago right after I moved from my childhood home into an apartment, my kitty got out. I found her later that day...hiding beneath the back steps of a neighbor's house around the corner. She was plenty scared, and I believe she got out in the first place because she was confused by her new surroundings. Hang in there...and please keep us posted. IP: Logged |

he was found! ok wow. thank you everyone! i know that your thoughts worked wonders. i was calm but inside i was terrified. so was my husband. we had searched EVERYWHERE. this place doesnt have a lot of clutter, my dad is very orderly. we found out that he was IN THE KITTY LITTER box the whole time. now who would have looked there???? argh... he was all dirty etc... i had to cut his tail hair to get the um... kitty litter stuff out of it. i wont go into details. *sigh* im just so glad he is ok! poo and all! thank you everyone! he was acting a lot better last night too. i guess hes getting acclimatized. hes still mad though lol. the dog is GREAT with him, but he just cant stand him. the kitten likes him too, but again, my lil fella is used to being the only one around so its been an insulting experience for him, lol. thanks again. i really appreciate it! *hugs to all* IP: Logged |

Awwwww poor kitty I'm so glad he's safe too. Yes it really is frightening when a pet goes missing. The other day I almost lost my kitty forever. I'm very attached to her too, she was born when I was 7 years old. She got caught in one of my neighbor's humane society traps (TINY little cramped things that let no light inside, and it was sitting in the sun, when it was 95 degrees out!) that she had set out for her cats. No wonder I couldn't find her! But I found her just in time, before the Humane Society came to throw the cages in the truck and take them away (Overhead: "Yeahhhh we don't cut them much slack - they get out about this much and WHACK!"). Her coat is long and furry and she was covered in marhsmallows and peanut butter! IP: Logged |

aw tuesday! i am SO GLAD you got her back!i just love cats with every essence of my being. i must have been an egyptian in a past life. i just understand them so well. its funny too cause i sorta thought to myself when merlin was missing... it was sort of a random thought that he was in the litterbox. i dismissed it though, because i thought why in the hell would he just sit in the litterbox? thats crazy, and kinda really gross. i should have listened to my intuition. i think i woulda made a better pisces than a silly libra who has to rationalize things and think so much, lol! i am so glad your kitty is back, and well, you have to admit, marshmallows and peanut butter is better than poopy! it sounds like you found her in the nick of time, thats so good. that humane society doesnt sound very humane, nor much of a society. sounds more like a gestapo. at least you got her back, yay!! i cannot believe in reading this thread that i didnt acknowledge all of the comments after my posting that he had been found! ack, a thousand lashes with a wet noodle for me! im sorry and yes juni, you are so right about both the independance, and the bugger part! :laughter: thank you juni, heidi, silver, twin lady, lunar, morgana and sunshyne! big hugs to all of you! i love that theres so many passionate animal lovers here. ~ana IP: Logged |

ohhhh tuesday, shes beautiful!!! so precious >^_^< sadly i have none of merlin. i do have some of him on some film that hasnt been developed yet, maybe i can get them to put it on cdr as my scanner isnt workin. hes mostly black too, with three white legs, and is fairly long haired. he has whiskers like a fu manchu mustache, lol! hes just the greatest. omg his tail! its INCREDIBLE! sadly i had to cut his tail hair near his bum cause otherwise it gets all... poopy. :/ it is the longest fluffiest tail i have ever seen on a cat! your kittys tail looks very lush too! give her a kiss for me ive tried to rectify merlins chart and so far i have come up with him being a cancer sun, with a merc in gemini (he is SO chatty and clingy, and smart yet easily bored, lol!!!) and probably a moon in an earth sign as he is simply unflappable and very calm in emotional distress. hes not a kitty that would freak out if he was in a scary situation, he will hide though as we know. in the car he just sits very still. i wish i had of gotten his birthdate i wonder what kind of mommy i am to him, according to his sun. lol im so goofy. maybe tomorrow i will post a bit of a story i wrote about my kitty. its so cute and funny! She's a very poofy kitty! I'm not sure what her sign is but I remember she was born in the summer. I'm thinking Leo or Cancer. She sits all regal and proud like a Leo when I stroke her - or do all cats act like Leos? But she's very loyal, always sticks around and comes running to me when she sees me; but she's also very timid and shy. She gets scared so easily and the neighborhood cats bully her around alot After going through something scary, she's all wide-eyed and looking everywhere paranoid. Poor girl.ana I was wondering, what is your own sign? BTW merlin sounds adorable Imagine if some non-animal lovers who don't believe in astrology read this conversation, they'd think we're insane, trying to figure out our animals' signs! IP: Logged |

hi tuesday i am a libra *ahhhhhhh* lol. i have a lot of earth in me but im primarily airy. i have a libra stellium and a moon in aries, there is some dispute regarding my chart (cant find an accurate house system for mine to save my life) that im getting answers to right now but i am probably either a cap or sag rising. whats your sign? i have lotsa water influences too even though i only have neptune in scorp but through polarities etc theres a lot going on of a watery type, beneath the surface. your kitty sounds like mine in a way, he had to be either a leo or cancer sun. i have determined cancer sun because hes just... so cancery lol. he thinks like a gem though, so thats why i think hes a gem merc, but i know hes got some planet/s in leo. i think your kitty might be a leo with some cancer planets, maybe gem, because not all cats sit proud and regal when they are petted. merlin isnt proud, he melts like buttah when i pet him and thats anything but regal, lol thats a very cancery thing. the timid and shy in your kitty sounds very cancery, she sounds very cancery from other things youve said. perhaps she is a cancer too with a venus in leo? thats definitely the loyalty in a partnership. quote: Imagine if some non-animal lovers who don't believe in astrology read this conversation, they'd think we're insane, trying to figure out our animals' signs!
absolutely but yet... anybody who didnt believe in astrology would be the same way, even in us doing our own charts, lol! they dont know what theyre missing ^_^ IP: Logged |

Libra, I knew it I was getting an air sign vibe from you. I'm a Gemini with Capricorn moon. I've found that I can just talk and talk and talk with air signs usually. My kitty melts too! I know just how to pet her, where and how to touch (this is sounding bad) until she's stretched out on the ground, paws opening and closing, eyes closed, purring.IP: Logged |
