Hi everyone  I wanted to let you know...I just returned from the hospital with my daughter Amanda where she had another ultrasound to check the cyst on her ovary...and it's gone!! As of this morning, SHE DOES NOT NEED SURGERY!!  She is a little upset though, because she is still bleeding; has been continuously since April. She sees the Dr. Friday morning to discuss what happens next, but he seems to think adjusting her BC pill dosage will straighten her out. I'm no doctor but I'm thinking that if it's not the cyst causing the bleeding, and there's nothing wrong with her cervix (normal PAP), the only other cause would be the uterus. She's going to ask about possibly needing a D&C, which I told her is A LOT easier to recover from than major abdominal surgery. So despite her frustration, we think this is wonderful news!  I'll post again once we find out what the next step will be. Thanks to all of you for your ongoing kindnesses and support.  And BTW... Melinda is doing great! TTYL, Twin Lady  IP: Logged |
