Does anyone ever wake up with or just happen to find random bruises? This weekend I woke up with one on my arm and a few on my legs. Any ideas? IP: Logged |

Oxy, being a farm girl, I always have bruises & rarely are sure where they come from. I do bruise very easy too. Have you always bruised like that? Do they hurt? Do you take supplements? Had a physical lately? My thought would be low blood count or something along that line. juniperb IP: Logged |

Us Aquas do have some circulatory issues, don't we? The supplements I take are green tea extract, CoQ10, Vitamin E. Sometimes Calcium supplements as well. My mom has the same problem. And I used to bruise like this, but haven't in a little while. This weekend was the first time in months probably. Makes me wonder what the heck I'm doing in the middle of the night.

Could have happened the day before, and you didn't notice them (either they didn't show up yet or you didn't notice them OR the impacts causing them). Bruising too easily is normally a symptom of Vitamin C deficiency (some people require larger amounts). A 1000 mg daily supplement of C with bioflavanoids should take care of it. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Cool, Randall, thanks! I had stopped taking my Vitamin C supplements b/c I've been eating a much larger amount of fruit lately. Well, guess it's back to the ol' vitamin c pills. IP: Logged |

My GF's mom has studied Homeopathy and swears that Arnica will help bruises. You use a gel/lotion and apply it to the bruise. ------------------ "Fear less, hope more; Whine less, breathe more; Talk less, say more; Hate less, love more; And all good things are yours." -Swedish Proverb IP: Logged |

Hi Oxychick,Actually, as long as I can remember I have periodically woken up with bruises. They are usually on my legs. I used to joke that I must be sleep walking or I was beating myself up as I slept (literally). They never hurt nor were they the big, bad, hurtin' bruises. They were just there when I woke up. I never did come up with an answer so sorry I can't be of any more help. ALAngel

Im an Aqua too and can so relate with the bruising. When i was a kid there wasnt a day that went by when i didnt get a bruise. Nowadays my hemoglobin count gets low every so often. So i take Iron and VitC and VitB complex whenever it dips. Some forms of medication can make u more susceptible to bruising too.

Hi DayDreamer, bruising seems to be an Aquarius thing . My whole calf is a bruise from tearing a muscle there. Oxy, have you started taking your supplements again? juniperb IP: Logged |

Oxy ive never heard of it either, so I went to the clinic as soon as it opened. As much as I hate taking Antibiotics, I got me some Penicillin/Amoxicillin cuz I was beyond desparate, in pain. Feeling a lot better now but I gotta finnish the medication, or i'll beprone to bacterial resistance...the idea scares me.IP: Logged |
