What if someone had a disease and then they balanced their energies using the color diet, do you think that it would have any effect on the disease? Would it not stand to reason that if you balance your energies then treat the disease in even the smallest of physiological ways, then the disease would go?------------------ Get some love in your groove, just get hip to forgive-Michael Franks IP: Logged |

Hi Silverbells,Dis-eases are very deep emotional manifestations, in my opinion. Auras are light energy eminating from what goes on from within. Proper food intake is essential to healing. Conscious positive mind energy in food preparation is vital component of it. There are also the Mind-Body relationships that need attention too . . . And these are ingrained within the body system that we tend to be unconscious of them. In my opinion, healing dis-eases is a very deep endeavor that requires sensitivity on both the part of the patient and healer. A. IP: Logged |

I think the notion of Time is worth a remark or two.I used to think that a person had to complete a particular course of self-healing first, you know, to be 'whole' enough in order to treat a disease effectively. In some cases that's very true -- it's not very wise to take a "megadosing" approach (starting several different detox/cleansing appraoches at once!), and people with immune system problems must be very careful when changing diet, etc., if taking medication, etc. But lately I've come to realize that a gentle ongoing energy balancing can happen concurrently with allopathic treatment. They aren't necessarily mutually exclusive. I suspect part of why Linda's color diets should work, is that they theoretically provide a structure to help teach people how to live more spiritually -- to consider what they eat, and why, and to spend more time in being connected with their emotions and with the divine (whatever they might consider that to be). And that way of living and thinking would help in healing the roots of any disease.

OKAY, now what is allopathic treatment and what is this you say about detoxifying? I suppose I should not be smoking while doing the color diet not just for health reasons but because of the fact that tobacco is brown and I plan to do the plumpy diet. Thank You Lunargirl.IP: Logged |

Allopathic medicine is the science of treating diseases we have today. Like chemotherapy, synthetic hormone replacements, vaccines, etc.Detoxification is a term used in both allopathic and holistic medicine. I interpret this term to mean a process to purge chemicals and other impurities out of the system. There are a lot of methods and theories available. My personal detoxification was going vegetarian for 6 months and eating only organic food last year. IP: Logged |
