The other day I recieve a crystal from my aunt's friend. I want to know its healing properties and abilities in all aspects of my life i.e love,family affairs etc.Also I want to know how to look after it properly and how to use it .All I can say about the crystal is that it looks like a piece of ice.thanx so much.

Ice? Does the stone look like a fresh piece of ice or a melting piece of ice?

I'm takin' a wild guess but perhaps it's some type of quartz? A quartz usually has some transparency.

this may seem an odd, request, but not knowing what kind of crystal it is this may be then best method of determining it's properties.

now pay close attention to this as it is a little involved.

firstly, we are going to try to determine how the crystal affect you personally, as it may affect others slightly differently. first, you must ground yourself. to do this, sit/stand/lay in a comfortable position, keep the crystal within easy reach, but do not hold it yet. now close your eyes and try to visualize yourself, see your body becoming surrounded be a warm glow of energy, know that his is your aura, keep visualizing the eneergy and know that it is emanating from you, now see a part of it extending out from you, and see it flow down into the earth, merging with the earth's own energy, so that you are one with the earth, know that as long as you remain grounded, no harm can come to you. now reach out and take the crystal and hold it in both hands. see and feel your energy running through the crystal and being altered by it as it flows back into you. now open your eyes and think about what you felt. when you took the crystal in your hands, how did you feel? the way it makes you feel will give you insight into its' properties adn how they relate to you. If you do not feel anything, that does not meen it does not affect you, it just means that you do not need it's abilities at the time. Try again when you are feeling unwell or stressed, at the least the act of grounding will aid you.
