I don't know if I have brought this up before. I think that I have but if not, I have always meant to.
I noticed that anytime I experience severe emotional trauma (more than usual), my period comes on. It comes either comes immediately or within hours, even if I am not supposed to have it for ten days or something. That is more than just having an irregular period.

Hi Silverbells

Stress definitely affects your period - it has a lot to do with your frame of mind, eh?
Makes sense then that Cancerians are so moody, considering that they're ruled by the moon - (as is the menstrual cycle).

I just saw the response to this. Yes, that is a connection that I hadn't thought of. Thank you.

It's not unusual. It's well know that emotions affect your cycle.

I usually dream I'm going to get my period the night before I get it. I think it has something to do with not being prepared. I don't even count days anymore, I know I'll dream the night before.

I do the same thing Philbird! And I don't count either!(lol)

Stress has a lot to do with when you start. I know that when I am stressed it is VERY painful and heavy.
