I just started the red diet and I forgot about the time change. Is it okay if I alter the time to accomidate the new hours or is it better to stay on the same time I have been? And just to let you know I've been on it a week and can fit into pants that were 1/2 an inch to small. Yeah for me!!! I'm so excited!!! My thyroid acted up and I gained so much, I never thought I'd get rid of it!!!! Looks like I'm off to a good start.

I don't have a definite answer to your question, but I don't think that an hour will hurt. I think that the point is to do it around the "power times" of sunrise, sunset and noon, so it might be better to change it for the time if the time that you change it to will coincide with the aforementioned times. Even then, I don't think that you MUST do it at these times.
Anyway, I am glad to hear that it is working. I've been wanting to do it for such a while and I have the materials but I'm kind of nervous about it. Post your progress okay, and tell me what exactly happens. Oh, do you have an orange bulb as well? I'm curious because I thought that I should get one but I couldn't find any.

No I haven't bought a orange light. I made it through a month of the diet last time I tried it. I had to quit because of moving and work. If you would like to order one call the Dinshah Health Society and tell them what you need they have access to alot of things nobody else does. Their a non-profit organization focusing on spectrum healing. The number is (856)692-4686. I highly recomend becoming a member to recieve thier newletter it is invaluable if you are interested in light healing!! Their web page is www.dinshahhealth.org/ . I'll keep you posted on my progress and I hope you can start yours soon. Why are you nervous about starting? (if you don't mind my asking!)

Thank you for that link and that information!
I have been kind of nervous about starting it because I did not have an orange lighbulb and Linda mentioned something about getting the runs when you first start off and if that happens, then switch to the orange but continue the diet. So I just wanted to be prepared for the the situation if it arose AND some people said that they gained weight before they lost weight and I just don't know if I can stand for that.
I'm going to go take a look at that sight now.
But when you did it before: for the month, how were the results then?
You know what else I am nervous about, the unknown.....

I had great results last time I did the diet also. And as for gaining weight at the start of the diet I never did. If it works out in the end you should not be afraid to gain a little to lose more. The unknown keeps us from doing alot of things but where would the world be if we only did the things we knew about and didn't have dreams. You must move forward or you do not move at all and what good is that? Life is all about learning, how far will we get if we don't try to do the lessons? There is nothing to fear but fear itself. There is nothing in this world that can't be overcome.

Oh, I just saw this post Alice Rabbit, you're right. I'm working my way around to it. Did you have a rapid heartbeat or any other changes (other than weight loss).

I've done very well so far I'm almost one month into the diet and have went from a size 10 to a 7. I have not had any big side effects. I had some small stomach aches while I was under the lamp but they were gone after an hour. I also had some soft stools but not for more than one trip to the bathroom and it's only happened twice or three times nothing like all day that she says might happen. I have not had to switch to a orange light yet. I feel so much better since I started this diet. I feel much better about myself! Good luck and I'll keep you posted!!!

I'm not sure about my breasts I think I may be paranoid. I think that they are a little smaller (my boyfriend says no) but not so much that I have to go down a size in bra. So I think it may be my over active imagination. I have been doing yoga also and it may be that they've just firmed up a little too.
