I Love Water! I love to drink it, I love to swim in it, I love baths, I love showers, I even love rain sometimes! This weekend, on Jaime Oliver's show on the Food Channel, there was a lady on who was some kind of nutritionist. She said that if you drink an extra 20 oz. of water a day, (on top of your normal water requirements), then you increase your energy by 20%! She also said that the more number of foods you eat in a meal, the more your brain and mind is stimulated. Sounds like it makes sense, huh? Of course your brain is happier to taste more things. Then she said a very small amount of chocolate is good for you, and the best chocolate to buy is the one that has the highest cocoa bean content, because it has less sugar. In other words, if you are going to have chocolate, buy the best quality. (I don't eat chocolate anymore, I went off of it in November as advice from my migraine Dr.) Anyhow just thought I'd share these interesting tidbits. IP: Logged |

I love the water too. Would go to lake all year round if I could. I also heard that if you want to lose weight that you should drink your 8 8oz. glasses of water a day and that for every 10lbs. drink another glass. Kinda makes me think of flushing the fat??? MissyIP: Logged |

I'm another water fan. I love rainy weather. Water and milk are pretty much the only two things I drink- I hate soda. I'm really fortunate to live right on a beach- really cheers me up everyday. I'm a Pisces- so maybe that has something to do with it?Piscesnight1980, seriously? That's awesome. Water's really good for your skin too, really clears it up and makes it look healthy. And for anyone that has acne- go swimming in salt water when ever you can. Really, really helps dry it up. ------------------ "Out of your depth or not, it's up to you whether you sink or swim."
