Does anyone else love apples? I have to eat one every day. I was buying from a seasonal vendor at the farmer's market but he hasn't been there for awhile, so I switched to a lady who has pink lady apples. Today I bought mine from Whole Foods because I didn't go to the f.m. I always try to buy small ones because I don't like HUGE ones. I don't know what it is, if I don't have my apple a day I don't feel "complete" We have an apple tree, golden delicious, but they won't be ready until late summer. I also bought some organic applesauce in individual containers for desserts after dinner. Yum! Yum! IP: Logged |

I love apples of all kinds, but they must be really hard and crisp! And I eat several a week. IP: Logged |

My favourite apples are Red Delicious ( purchased back in Queesntown, NZ), I don't know where they came from. All I know is they were VERY dark, sweet and not too big and not too juicy but not too dry, either. I eat apples everyday. I make broccoli apple lemon juice and it's tasty and nourishing. Fibre is not extracted. ------------------ Dana IP: Logged |

A) Broccoli (170g), may be either raw or boiled for 10 seconds if desired, 1/4 or 1/2 sliced bigger apple (I would have a fuji apple- the beeswax can be 'scrubbed off' with a knife), do not peel the skin, 1 or 1/2 sliced lemon, do not peel the skin and 250cc water, together being made juice with a blender- you may drink it with or without the fibre (it is recommended to drink with, since it contains plenty of nutrients) before having breakfast or dinner. Drink 2/3 tablespoon of olive oil (the most ideal oil, which is essential) afterwards, in order to help your body to absorb the vitamin A in the juice. The juice contains calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamins A, B, C, K and other nutrients.B) Guess what? Here's my theory. Apples remind me of the forbidden fruits from the tree of knowledge. I do believe that it was Adam who saw Eve eating the apple and asked her 'can I have a bite?' and then Eve handed the apple to Adam. ------------------ Dana IP: Logged |

I LOVE apples of all sorts except for the Granny Smith(you know, the sour green ones). I normally eat at least one everyday. Apples forever. MD.IP: Logged |

The reason why broccoli may have to be boiled for 10 seconds is for cleansing- and if you have an ozone detox machine, you can eliminate the pesticide in the broccoli. Eating raw veggies (e.g. celery, carrot, turnip, cucumber, pepper etc.)is vital because the enzyme in them remains when they are uncooked.P.S. Apple is my favourite fruit! ------------------ Dana IP: Logged |

Anyone else put salt on their apples? ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

I never put salt on apple. What types of apples are good with salt? Certain kinds or all kinds? Speaking of apples, I feel incomplete because I did not have my apple today IP: Logged |

I'll wait until I crave something salty then I'll try it. My chiropractor is holistic and says that salt is very bad for us and makes your heart work too hard. Anyhow, he doesn't need to know if I try that IP: Logged |
