Do you really have it? The purple plate doesn't work for me either, and I have tried them for many, many things. I hope you heal soon ~ IP: Logged |

Yes I really have pneumonia, even though linda thought only certain sun signs could get it. I am virgo, supposedly one of the immune signs, lol. I've had what I thought was a lingering cold for about a month, but since the other day I started getting really bad chest pains when i breathe and it scared me into going to the dr. I am on strong antibiotics and "rest". thanks for the healing light. I think if I relied on the purple disk to heal me i would have died, lol. IP: Logged |

Did Linda say that? I thought she said you would only get lung cancer (for example) if indications were in your chart (not just Sun Sign).------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Sending healing light your way... I love my purple plate, but I don't really benefit from its healing properties, either. IP: Logged |

Poor purplezen. pee-nee-monia is no fun. My husband had it a few years ago. He is never, ever sick and always has lots of Gemini energy but it really knocked him out. He was tired for a few months. It takes a while to completely recover I guess. Gets lots of rest and go easy with yourself. Good luck. IP: Logged |

Hi purplezen,Healing light sent your way! Take good care of yourself; pneumonia is nothing to fool around with. I've had it twice and the first time, as a baby, nearly killed me. In reference to your sign...Linda in Star Signs talks about the "crosses"; in this situation, the MUTABLE CROSS. What I mean for example: Gemini is a sign very susceptible to problems of the lungs, and it's a mutable sign. According to what I'm relating to...the other mutables could be susceptible too because of what is called in the book, "sympathetic parts of the body"; and I would think especially if there is a strong aspect between them. Being the mutable sign of Virgo could have something to do with why you have pneumonia, particularly if you have planets in Gemini, Sag or Pisces forming squares or oppositions to your Sun. In my case, my Pisces Ascendant widely squares my Sun. Other examples that occur to me: I had a Virgo friend who every year would get terrible bronchitis. Her Moon is in Sag, square her Sun. Another person I know who is Sag became very ill with pneumonia a few years ago; her Mars is square her Sun. If you're interested in reading about the "crosses", Linda talks about this in the chapter "An Apple A Day", on pages 62 - 64, with a list of the signs and the parts of the body they rule on page 61. Either way...be sure to get enough rest. IP: Logged |

hi purple ~pneumonia hurts! i had it last year and i took a vitamin/herbal supplement for it called 'Respiral' by 'Now' vitamins. that cured me. it has quercetin and bromelain and other herbs/vitamins. also, anthroposophic medicine calls for ultra-high doses of vitamin c, so i did that too, 6000 to 12000 mg a day. it worked! sending healing light to you.... talaith

I hear zinc (50 mg) a day works wonders. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

Hi Purp!So have the antibiotics kicked in yet? Feel'in a little better? Pee-nee-monia is no fun and seems to take forever to get to 100%, keep on top of it, if the antibiotics aren't working soon, force yourself to go back to Dr or call......(I know the thought of trying to muster enough energy to go back is like an ant trying to move a boulder, no strengh) also.......if my memory serves me right (questionable, lol) umm, they say that once you've had pee-nee-monia you are more susceptable to getting it again, so you may want to look into getting a pee-nee-monia shot next year, (similar to flu shot?) anyways, you won't realize how sick you were until you are all better and won't want to experience that again.....after my bout with pee-nee-monia, I made sure I got the pee-nee-monia shot and I believe it lasts for a few years????? Something to look into when you feel up to it. When you start to feel better, don't over-due anything, please allow yourself time to heal, a re-lapse is not worth it. Our thoughts are with ya! Talaith: Thanks for the tip on Respir-All, sounds like something one should have on hand.....I'm all into nipping things in the bud, before they get out of hand.
