Is it normal for them to taste like beer? Is it okay if I put a few drops in some orange juice to mask the taste? Aside from the taste, I have no complaints. I just took some strawberry essence (which is for cheerfulness and to help with my dancing), I'll post more later. Tonite I will take the one that is supposed to help me sleep and I will let you all know if it worked. IP: Logged |

Hi Purple!Yay! for the arrival of your Pegasus Products! As for the taste...what kind of base are the essences in? Does it say on the bottle? Alcohol? Or something else? Are you taking them directly under the tongue, or are you diluting them in a glass of water? How many drops are you taking? I usually try to take the essences in water-and there is virtually no taste. Occassionally I'll pop a bit of rescue remedy under the tongue- a VERY STRONG alcohol taste. Also- don't forget, you can add the essences to your bathwater...which some practitioners will say is the best way of all for your body to absorb them...then you won't have to worry about the taste at all! I'm leaving for a 10 day trip today- I'll try to check in as soon as I can to see if you have replied to this post! Welcome to the world of Flower Essences! IP: Logged |

Hey mercurialmisfit, The essences are 16% brandy (a preservative), hence the taste. I checked some other flower essence websites and this seems to be the norm. No big deal, I just took the essences in my orange juice As for results, I definitely felt more energized after taking the vitality essence. As for athletic performance with strawberry essence, I got yelled at less than usual by my dance teacher and did better pirouettes, which are very hard for me (whether it was mind over matter or the power of suggestion, I don't know, but it doesn't matter to me anyway, lol). Last night before bed I took the sleep blend. While it did not work right away, I had VERY vivid dreams of my first boyfriend/soulmate who I haven't seen in years. I woke up crying! Strange, but neat. IP: Logged |

Yup, they carry that alcohol taste and it is the norm. I create my own from the mother essence for my clients and some prefer a vegetable glycerin as a preservative. Maybe you can order it w/the gylcerin? Could I have possibly taken too much vitality essence during the day? I'm wondering because I couldn't sleep at all last night, even after taking the sleep essence. I hope it really works IP: Logged |
