I have a bite on the side of my hip, where my hip bone is. It itches and is in such a bad spot. My clothes keep rubbing against it. I don't think it's a mosquito bite because the actual center of it is getting bigger, the really really red part. Around it is pink. Does this sound like a spider bite? Anyhow, does anyone know of an easy remedy to make it go away fast? Thanks in advance.

Yep, sounds like a spider bite to me.

Keep close watch over it may become infected. I would try to wear loose fitting clothes that will not irritate it and let the air get to it as much a possible. If it itchy badly then use a hyda-cortizone cream to stop the itch.

Good Luck!

That's a hard one because it could be either. If it becomes more defined like a circle within a circle, or start to look like a perfect bullseye, perhaps you should get it looked at. Do not scratch. I would agree about putting something on to stop the itch. Then I 'd watch it carefully. If it's a normal bite it will just run it's course and get better in about 5 days.

Good luck.

Baking Soda paste is cheap and effective for bug bites and stings.
(Mix baking soda and water to make a paste, apply)
