ALl the love and light and a lil magic to is for your son.

But..if you dont mind my asking, why is your son feeling like that?

Is there anything we can do about it?

Perhaps if you could provide his birth info, we can see ways to help him battle it

and

Cassandra

Hi Philbird,

A thought.......I too have a 13 yr. old male, abt. 4 mo younger than yours.....this year has been about alot of changes for him. It is a tough year. Anyways, does your son AIM much or at all? The reason I ask is that, it may be a way for him to meet more kids at his school or neighboring schools, it seems that my son is always on, flirting w/girls or whatever....I have noticed that since he started AIM'ing, he is more friendly with the neighborhood girls, whereas he wouldn't give 'em the time of day before, now there is sort of a mutual respect or a more mature attitude, he'll at least wave back or acknowledge them. I realize it is an age thing too, hahaha, but he's now starting to want to go to local High School(s) football games, etc., and he talks to kids from rival Jr. Highs etc............again just a thought.
Getting him involved in sports is another avenue as he would get to know more kids and fit in. Team sports at this age are great, they do alot of activities together, etc. Last year my son was recruited to another soccer league/team, one that was age pure and pretty established, and I feared him being the new kid coming, but luckily, no prob at all. Now if it were girls, I think we'd be talking a different story, lol. Boy Scouts at this age do a lot of out door activities and long bike rides, camping etc.

I guess my thought is to get him involed in activites....to get to know people, get him out there, cuz, without having my son is so much, he'd be in his room listening to music 24/7.

P.S. if you need help w/school work check out: www.glencoe.com

Sending much love and light your way.
