Hello All,

Does anyone here use specific meditations or prayers during healing work?

I've used forms of Buddhist, Christian and nondenominational meditation or prayer in the past and present and wondered if anyone had any ideas or insights to share on the topic.

I use music and sound healing (some favorites are Karunesh, Steven Halpern, Jonathon Goldman's Healing Sounds, Enya, Lisa Gerrard and Dead Can Dance, and Snatum Kaur), guided healing meditation cds, meditation and healing with crystals and stones, chakra meditation, aura meditation, color meditation, meditation using a sound and light machine (I personally recommend the Muse Sharp).

My favorite and most powerful meditations are ones where I use my sound and light machine (which I can't recommend highly enough - it's fairly expensive but so worth it!) in tandem with meditation music and crystals placed on my appropriate chakras.

Thank you for the welcome, Randall.

Tigerlily, the links are much appreciated. The Muse Sharp does look very interesting. I've never used a sound and light machine personally though I have a reflexologist friend who swears by his.
