Hi. I have a friend who was born on February 16, 1980 at 4:30 A.M. I would like to give him a gemstone that would heal and protect him. Any suggestion?

I have read that blue sapphires would be beneficial. Let me know of any info you would like to share!

Love and Light,

Amethyst would be a good choice, for any sign. (I'm not a big believer in crystals and stones being assigned to signs. Each and every stone is equally valuable and healing for everyone.)

I think that any stone that calls to you when you see it would be good.

It also depends on what he needs to be healed and what he needs protection from.

Hey! Thanks for the great replies! I just want to get a nice gemstone for him to place in his car, perhaps to hang around the rear view mirror. It is not just for the idea that the gemstone will protect him, but for him to know that someone wants him to be protected.
Any more ideas?

Thanks so much,
Love and Light

I feel that colour vibrations have alot to do with it.
Everything vibrates on a certain frequency, your sun sign vibrates to a planet, number and to a color.
If you choose a gemstone according to your sun sign it will surely harmonise better than others if you didn't.

The reason we may not understand why colours and numbers are associated with our sun signs is due to not realizing the significance of vibrational frequencies.

If I had my Book I could tell you what would be most suitable for a taurean. Hopefully someone can look it up in Star Signs for you.

I can't recall exactly, but Linda was so sure that if you filled a red room with Aries, under the time of Aries, and they all were wearing rubies, they would all literally levitate due to the concentrated energies.

I don't think this has been done, but my hopes are as good as hers.

I am saying this due to personal experience. I acutally felt orange harmonising with me as I am a leo. Even Red.
It's very uplifting.

Hi Taurustar,

I've been told that moonstone is good for protection in traveling. There is another stone that's even better but I cant remember the name.

I got a piece of moonstone for my (ex)boyfriend to keep on his motorcycle, for safe travels. I also go a piece for my mom to keep in her car.

I'd go with that. You can usually find moonstone at your local crystal shop. Do a search on the net! You'll dig up something. I cant remember the name of the other stone ATM.

Hope this helps you out!

Moonstone is an awsome idea!

Also I was thinking a combination of hematite and rose quartz. The hematite for protection and the rose quartz to let him know someone wants him to be protected.

Moonstone is wonderful for protection, but I would also suggest black onyx or any type of obsidian (especially snoflake obsidian).

My husband and I are very into geology and stones in general (he's a jeweler and has been digging stones for nearly 35 years) and I've been learning about metaphysical properties for about 5 years or so now.

Also, amethyst is a wonderful suggestion too (like tigerlily said) simply beacuse it is the birthstone for Feburary.

Also, he's an Aquarius (1/20 to 2/18) so Fire Opal is a good suggestion too!

Good luck & I really hope that this helps you some!

If you would like to see my full list of Metaphysical Properties that I have collected over the years, it's at http://goode.netfirms.com/metaphysical.html

Have a great day!

I am considering all the gemstones mentioned! I have been doing some research for a month or two, yet different sources say different things. (I would love it if someone would look in Star Signs for me since I don't have my copy with me!!!)Actually, I am majoring in Geology, and I just had a mineralogy course in the fall. Combining my interest in the Earth with metaphysics won't be too difficult in the future

Thanks everybody,

Please be careful in very hot weather. My friend's car went up in flames because of a crystal on his dash board in San Ramon California last summer. I also remember reading that a cottage in the southeast of England burnt down due to a crystal hanging behind a glass window frame.
