During the winter my feet get really dry and cracked. Right now it is so cracked that it hurts to walk and regular lotion isnt working. Now my mom used to put lotion or vaseline in a plastic baggy and tie it to her foot and let her foot sit in it for awhile. But I dont want to do that because the thought of squishy stuff on my feet gives me the heeby jeebys. So can anyone reccomend some products that would help my problem? Thanks IP: Logged |

Yep.... Depends on how deep the fissures are. And petroleum is a barrier, and will penetrate, and soften, while preventing the moisturization from escaping.. so get over your heebie-jeebies and just do it.. over night. Scrub your feet, no need to worry about being gentle.. the idea is to remove the dead skin cells that have built up... and use a pumice as well.. on the areas that need it. Apply some really good moisturizer.. something with urea/hyaluronuic acid, shea butter/olive oil .. or even an alpha hydroxy product, which is a chemical exfoliator.... then smother the tootsies with vaseline, or a good barrier cream, then grab some heated cotton towels ( put them in microwave) it's a real treat.. feels so good, especially in winter cold. Put your smothered tootsies in cotton socks ( baggies if you want too) and thn put the heated towels over, wrapped tightly.... relax, have a nap.. better yet, do it overnight.. be careful the next morning. Rinse your feet before you shower, as you will slip all over the place. Now get your lover to lick your toes. K, that last part is unnecesary.. but still quite fun.IP: Logged |

well I got this Eucerin Intensive repair foot cream. I also got one of those metal callus removers, they kinda work like a cheese grater. So I think Im just gonna use those and then not run around with my socks off. IP: Logged |
