I had previously typed a long post with regards to my Van Praagh experience to have it wiped out because I goofed on my password, sooooo frustrating. So I thought I would wait till I saw you hang'in around before re-posting.

Anyways. Amazing. Yep that pretty much sums it up, lol. The first evening pretty much was merely an introduction of the course, a chance for people to introduce themselves, explain what they hoped to gain, who they are, what they do etc. There were approx. 90 attendees? Several practicing psychics and truely phenomanal people were there. Several came from across the States, one gal came from Japan. Several "returnees" people who had previously attended his workshop(s).

I was totally elated after the first evening because I had no idea he used or believed in astrology so much. He referenced it often and the best part.......I understood each and everything he referred to... whoo hoo! hahaha (I don't know if I previously mentioned this or not, but my prompt to take this venture came from a local astrologist/intuit who I had recently taken a relatively short beginners astrology class, and on the close of the last class she had given us each a 45 minute reading, wherein she claimed that I could be a very powerful psychic, but that I needed to claim my power, etc., etc.,then after looking at some posted Mediums charts, namely Van Praaghs and seeing several of the same aspects in common with his, namely the ones she had pointed out, I thought I needed to investigate) Anyways, I brought copies of his and my charts, we did spend a couple minutes comparing the similarities of the charts and he did make a comment about me being "very psychic" roflmao, oh sure, what else was he suppose to say, haha

Although, sure not feeling like I have any type of "gift" after seeing what so many people could do. I would venture to say that perhaps 85-90% of persons who were there had previous training or had been studying for at least a few years. But, there were a couple who were as green as I, that blew my socks off!!! One gentleman, who had always been a skepic, who recently lost his wife and unsure exactly why the heck he was there....his wife came through, she helped ground him......he even gave a reading at the end of the class to fellow student.

The second day consisted of partnering up with someone whom throughout the day you would learn different exercises with. I felt soooo sorry for my partner
He first taught us how to "feel" the energies of our Chakras--WOWZA...unbelievable! I had a hard time feeling anything with my throat and heart chakra, which made total sense to me, but by solar plexis chakra my hands just shook like crazy!!! too funny.....very exciting to actually "feel" energy, I have read a few things on Chakras, have a few books, etc. but until you really grasp it, and for me it took someone showing me, amazing.

My partner had mentioned early on in getting to know her that she and her husband had hoped to move up to Minden, NV area when they retire and buy a ranch, and also mentioned she had grown up on a ranch. Well, the very first "exercise" we did, all I received was "animals, large, brown, fence" (but I didn't mention the fence part) that was all that came through and I felt absolutely terrible as she had just told me that she wanted to retire on a ranch!!! She said that she has three big dogs that she absolutely loves, I told her I saw large brown animals,(more of a feeling opposed to actually seeing an object) didn't think it had to do with dog, though. I apologized profusely, wishing she had a better suited companion. I felt horrible.

I had made friends with a couple girls from Israel, now living in LA area earlier that morning. They tracked my partner and I down at lunch to eat lunch with. One gal was about my age, absolutely beautiful, looked to be 25 instead of 43, James even apologized for gawking, lol, and commented on her beauty, very, very gifted. My partner was wearing a crystal bracelet, which caught her eyes, (lol, right away I knew she was going to read my partner!) sooo, exciting, sure as heck my partner takes it off and hands it to her to look at, and Beauty (can't remember her name, lol) gets this look in her eyes and says something like, "I see you with animals, big, brown, you like Pocahantas, you need outdoors, yada, yada" and then the conversation immediatley went into talking about American Indians. I WAS FLOORED!! Total confirmation to what I had recieved but in much more depth!!! She even mentioned seeing a brown fence, the same one I had seen, but hadn't mentioned to my partner. My whole attitude then changed. I so needed that confirmation.

Okay, I could go on and on. The whole trip was amazing, starting with the lady I met and visited with on the airplane (another story, but we both agreed that we were meant to meet, kinda strange, but very cool, I felt there were things I needed to tell her and she had things she needed to tell me) She was heading down for a girls weekend with old college friends in Palm Springs & lives in the next town to me. We didn't exhange numbers or anything, it was kinda like we both knew too much about eachother all of a sudden......awesome person, had I met her under different circumstances, we'd probably be good friends. I just felt really awkward...and I could tell that she did too...I guess the best description would be that it was "spiritual" or perhaps "psychic" encounter? as we were both messengers.

Gah Noreen, quit the rambling!!! geesh

Thank you for that Noreen. I'm so glad you had a fantastic time. I'm also glad that you got confirmation to what you already suspected about yourself.

I think James a lovely gentle soul.
