PinkPearls&Stars unregistered	posted April 08, 2005 05:24 PM hey i just started to get more and more interested in the gems and stones aspect of things. i just bought this beautiful adorable little moonstone, as Linda recommended I get in Star Signs, and I was just wondering if anyone had some tips on how to work with it, or any good sites that could help. Also, has anyone ever tried using the purple plate to cleanse or recharge your crystals? It would make sense, but Im new to the stone things, so Im not sure what to do. Thanks! IP: Logged

I've been meaning to get the big one for awhile you can find the authentic purple plates at www.purpleplate.com i beleive. Im sure pretty much everyone here would recommend it, including myself! laglady unregistered	posted April 11, 2005 07:31 AM Awesome pinkpearls.. that's actually the site I was on last night after doing a search.. I think I may get the 1 1/2 inch disk, and wear it on a necklace.. do some experimenting with it. I still am eager to hear how other knowflakes feel about these plates. I find the large plate to be the most effective. I never felt much from the smaller ones. We have a water cooler so we put the large plate on top of it (and it really makes the water taste better, I have to say). I lay my crystals and gemstone jewelry on the surface of the large plate whenever they're not in use. So I generally charge my gemstone jewelry overnight, for several hours. I can really feel a difference. I was concerned about the stamp at first as well, but the company began to stamp it so that others can distinguish it from the fake ones. The purple plates can be used for so many things , sometimes one forgets! or at least I forget what other things they can be used for. I use mine alot. I have them readily available in the house. I have a large one, a small plate and I used to have asmall disc however I passed it on to someone who was in more need of it than i (and its dont its job) My large one has been sitting under my sickly sickly plant ... which is still alive so the plates doing wonders for it. Tigerlily - interesting aobut your water cooler. I had read abou tusing it on top of the water heater/tank/softener (which ever one) and how it make a huge difference .... my hunny was a lil skeptikal till his father convinced him otherwise! havent dont it yet ... cause I have no acess to either of them .... renting! i've realy thouhgt about putting one here in my office , especially lately. stress and drama. PinkPearls&Stars unregistered	posted April 12, 2005 11:12 PM i also used to put them under my plants, angel, the already cut ones would last so much longer than they normally would, i was so suprised. I also put it under my sickly plant along time ago...I had it under there for about a week, but the purple plate didn't do anything...i guess I probably should have started treating it before it died. The purple plate doesn't promise resurrection...YET! And you really are in for a treat laglady! I pretty much dont go anywhere without it these days! angel_of_hope unregistered	posted April 20, 2005 10:55 PM Your gonna love it Laglady! I tested my MIL's old purple plate, (over 10years old)with 2 glasses of gardenhose water (Eeeeewwwwwuuuuh!) I took one and placed it on the purple plate on one side of the counter and placed the other on the opposite end of the table (far enough away as not to recieved any charge from the plate) 3 minutes later did a taste test. I was soooooo amazed at the results. The glass that was sitting on the purple plates was so nice and clean and crisp tasting. It also had a hint of sweetness to it. That was enough to convince me of there magikal abilities. I jumped online and bought some right away! Dogstar - They are the purple plates linda speaks of. Heres some links. I must try remember that one runs to store to buy fresh flowers, as ours in the ground are in shock As far as the sickly plant goes .. maybe you didnt keep it under there enough. I actually used my large one as a crutch from that plant for a long time. Months... in fact its been prolly at least 6 months. Daily all day. Its so bright green and finally, just now, sprouting new leaves. This things was litterly dieing before using the plate. My hunny told me i was crazy for having such high hopes for the poor thing. But i proved him wrong, ahem we proved him wrong (my purple plate and i) in fact this last weekend I decided (after seeing new leaves sprouting)that its time to pull it out. angel_of_hope unregistered	posted April 29, 2005 02:59 PM UPDATE ON SICKLY PLANT : After removing the purple plate .... this plant has taken off. I have so many new leaves poppin up, its color is so vividly bright green. Its beautiful. So beautiful O could cry. This thing was nothing when i finally decided to try the purple plate. It had only one little stem and 'a' leaf that was wilting and yellow, turning brown. The roots were on the verge of root rot. It was literally holdin on by 'a' string .... and now its just flourished into a gorgeous plant. All because of the wonderful magikal mysterious powers of the purple plate! Thank you Universe & Nikola Tesla for the purple plates! And Thank you Linda for devoting a whole chapter to these purple plates in Star Signs! ang- IP: Logged

Quazar unregistered	posted May 24, 2005 12:39 PM My purple plate works wonders for my headaches (as Linda suggested.) That's mainly what I use my plate for...when I feel a bad one coming on, the first thing I do is get my purple plate, and rarely need tylenol... Anyone else try this? IP: Logged
angel_of_hope unregistered	posted May 24, 2005 03:41 PM Quazar - yes i have and it works like magic. I lay mine on my forehead or underneasth the head if its headache in the back of my head. Usually after about 15-30 min is slowly and gradually goes away and then im fine. I also (as noted above) have removed my large purple plate fro munder the now recoved sick plant and placed it under my mattress (between the box spring and mattress) and have noticed improved sleep and dreams as flowing again. my hunny doesnt know its been placed there, but he hasnt complained about not sleeping well either so i assume its helping him as well. On another note: I found out recently that you can engrave the purple plates.I have one on order (a small disc) for my dog. When i recieve it i will take it to a local jeweler and have it engraved as her dog tag. Her favorite spot to lay down is right in the middle of the bed where the purple plate is - so i dont think she'll have any problems with a small disc on her collar. IP: Logged

lechien Knowflake Posts: 1980 From: in a giant room with 2 little furry friends Registered: May 2009	posted September 01, 2011 06:45 PM i grew up with a mother who taught me gemstones have powers. so naturally i believe it. well, recently i started buying loads of semi-precious gemstone beads for my handmade jewellery project which I intend to sell. so to help the business, sort out my psychological imbalance and just clear out the bad energy that's built up like hell around me, i also purchased some gemstones for that purpose too. so yesterday, i received a tumbled Amazonite for helping me rid of subconscious blocks and aid inspiration, a big piece of raw Snowflake Obsidian to also clear out my muddled mind and cleanse and ward off the bad energy, a tumbled carnelian, citron and aventurin to support my business and prosperity, also a raw black garnet for creativity and business too, then in addition the basic 3; amethyst, crystal quartz and rose quartz. last night i cleansed them all and let them rest, submerged in water by the window over night. oh my god. they ARE working. they are stirring things up like crazy. i am in a REALLY HORRENDOUS mood!!! it's like being on the wrong pills and the hormones going wild. i am so angry and just want to burst into tears for absolutely no reason, and no it's not PMS and i'm not ovulating. i lost everything to a flood some years ago and lost all my stones i had back then too, and since then i hadn't owned any (except small pieces given to me by my mother and a friend). i have to get used to their energy i guess.
