Hello All! I'm new here and I have a question that I hope some of you could help give me some input on:I'm pretty skinny, and the little fat that I have tends to go to my lower body (particularly my thighs). So I'm curvy on the bottom and bony on top! I wish the fat would distribute more evenly. I'd like to know the reason/s for this. Is it simply genetics (the females on my mother's side are larger on bottom than on top), or is it diet, or is how I tend to direct my mental energy a factor? I would love to hear any of your thoughts on this. ------------------ Gemini/Cancer cusp, Aquarius Moon, Taurus Rising IP: Logged |

Hello, Lovely The colour diet is supposed to be very effecive in redistributing your weight and bringing you to your ideal. My neighbour did it and she looks great!!! Absolutely fit, it's incredible. She did the red gold one. From your post, I'm not sure which one you should do...I think maybe blue green. On the whole you'd call yourself a skinny, would you? SunShyne IP: Logged |

I suggest strength training....doing a lot of upper-body work, (concentrating on chest, shoulders, upper arms, back, etc.) will balance out your lower body and give a more proportionate look.Just my 2 cents. Good luck! ------------------ There are some days when no matter what I say it feels like I'm far away in another country & whoever is doing the translating has had far too much to drink. Welcome! ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. Thank you for your replies! I was thinking that I should do cardio for my thighs and weights to build mass on my upper body, but my Chinese Acupressure/Massage Therapist said that I tend to hunch my shoulders and doing upper body work would encourage that. I've been reading posts on these forums that discuss the color diet, and it seems to have a lot to do with redistribution. I have known about the color diet for years, and though it seemed fascinating, I was too lazy to commit to those daily tasks, but after reading more about it and the results it can offer, I am motivated. I'm going to start buying the materials today. Thanks and I'll let you all know how it goes! ------------------ Gemini/Cancer cusp, Aquarius Moon, Taurus Rising IP: Logged |

If you make a protein drink with brewer's yeast (Lewis Labs brand is the only one that tastes good.) and lecithin granules....it can help distribute your weight. You put it in the blender with....some kind of milk of your preference....cow's, goats, soy.....and you can put a little yogurt in it.....whatever kind....and some fruit. You can put it in juice too. You have to start with a small amount of brewer's yeast and work up....because it'll cause bloating and gas....so you have to build tolerance to it.IP: Logged |

Pear shaped bodies, or bodies with the majority of fat on the lower half, are supposedly healthier shapes for your heart. So, yeah, that's cool.IP: Logged |
