Does anyone use starflower oil and if so have they found it good for hormonal stuff, pmt and the menopause, maybe?I started to take it a week ago and didnt get pmt as early as I normally would, so maybe if anyone out there is suffering you could give it a go and we could compare notes? Love

Could you tell us a little more, Sue G? I'm unfamiliar with it. I use a female formula I make myself, it's a tincture. The recipe is from Dr. Schulze.  IP: Logged |

Hi TrillianIts is very similar to Eve.Primrose oil, but I believe it is treble the strength - it comes in capsule form and its well known here for treating PMT and hormanal related conditions - is it not available where you are Trillian? x X x IP: Logged |

I don't know what PMT is, but I've used Black Cohosh for a number of years for female issues. Its wonderful... but you can't use it if you're intending on becoming, or are pregnant. It will cause the baby to be born at any gestation.I've heard its wonderful for menopause. IP: Logged |

Thanks Libra for that tip, I will try it.I am glad you dont know what PMT is cos its a bloody nightmare, it stands for PRE MENSTRUAL TENSION - irritability, weepiness, fat belly, etc etc. Do you not get that at all (hope not girl). Thanks again for tip Love

Sue G, in the U.S. we call it PMS, for Pre-Menstrual Syndrome. Same thing.  I'll look into the Starflower Oil. ONe of the ingredients in my Female Formula is Black Cohosh.  IP: Logged |
