Hey artlovesdawn. I had that problem about 2 years ago. I had moved from a rural area into Kansas City, and developed a severe sinus infection. Whenever it would flare up, I had to lie down until the pain stopped. I had to take antibiotics to clear it up. I no longer live there, so I haven't had one since.IP: Logged |

ArtLovesDawn,Try putting a little salt in some warm water and letting it dissolve. Then *sniff* it into your nose and spit it out. It cleans out your sinuses and its perfectly safe so long as you DON'T INHALE it. Also it HAS to be salty otherwise it will irritate your mucus membranes (think, blood is salty). IP: Logged |

You can use peppermint essential oil for the tension relief. Apply some oil to your finger tips and rub the oil all along your hairline front to back. Adding extra oil to the temples and Occipital are great! Within five minutes you should feel heat or cold (each person is individual in response) and you should have dulled discomfort/tension or none. Peppermint oil numbs the pain receptors. Good Luck! I forgot to add you could buy disposable masks to wear where you feel comfortable. Air purifiers help. IP: Logged |

I suffer the same problem, a quick easy rememdy is to inhale vapour from oranges, lemons, or limes.Peel the skin close to your nose, keeping eyes closed and inhale the oil vapour through your nostrils. It's pretty darn nice! It may tingle at first, you need to get used to it, if it stings that may be because the skin is irritble, but it does no harm, only loads of good! ------------------ "...and dreams, don't ever forget, are the first step in manifesting wishes into reality" -Linda Goodman IP: Logged |
