hi,What is a really good treatment for strech marks? I've heard cocoa butter and shea are popular remedies, but do they really work? Also, does anyone know of anything that helps with nail fungus? My hubby has had this persistent problem, and is hesitant to get the Lamisil prescription. I've heard that its bad for your liver to be on it. Is there a way to change the diet, or anything that can be applied? Thanks in advance IP: Logged |

Does he have hockey equipment, or an environment where topical treatments wouldn't be beneficial? There are so many remedies for fungus.... Google it. It doesn't have to be internal medicine, if he is unsure.....Topical applied properly will kill the fungus as well... Has he been checked out.. and y ou know it is a fungal? ( Although it most likely is, as those are rampant and widespread and easily acquired)Stretch Marks.. If they are old, ie; white scars, there isn't much you can do. There are new things on the pharmaceutical level...dermatological breakthroughs..... But at the grassroots levl, anything with a high EFA content... including internal consumption... essential fatty acids.. to lubricate the skin internally. Vitamin E is still a fabulous scar reducer. Shea and cocoa and olive oil are excellent emolliants, and when the skin is well lubricated and in good condition there is less chance of developing stretchmarks in the first place. But if you already have them, they are scars. When they are red and new, it is easier to fade them.. but old.. only a little ( although they are white anyway, naturally faded, depending on your skin tone.) The name escapes me right now, but I'll get it and come back to tell you, but there is something on the market that does worl to fade scars significantly. I'll let you know when I remember.

Tea Tree oil is an anti bacterial/viral topical solution. Or Thymol is another topical product available for nail fungus. Call any Beauty Distributor and they can direct you to the nearest salon/spa that should sell it. Good Luck! IP: Logged |
