Hi Devilfish

They are remedies for specific mental conditions, ie fear, anxiety, etc etc, plant based, steeped in alcohol....if you go into google and type in Bach Flower Remedies, you will find loads of info on them. Did you hear of REscue remedy....this one has a few remedies in one bottle, and is great to use for kids and adults in time of emergency, shock, accidents etc......it really calms the energy.....

What do you use yourself for family?

xx

mainly i use diet remedies i guess,i mean when sickness starts , i out ALL sources of sugar, increase water intake, and then if its infection , i use garlic cloves taken by mouth raw form.i also use cranberries, pomegrant, and blueberries. sore throats, i include fresh pinapple.ive used cayenne pepper, and ginger for numerous things & for poisons/ stings/puss ect. on skin i use activated charcoal poltices.
for fever i use water therapy.
when we are sick we must smell like some funky soup kitchen, LOL.
i use aloe veras /tea tree oil/ as well as other essential oils for various reasons.
for depression i have found that when i get down its a clear sign to watch my b vitamins.
ill also yoga/ exercise as this releases natural endorphins.
these are just a few , watcha think?

Oooh it sounds wonderful.....our little one drinks lots of cranberry.....garlic is wonderful isnt it girl.....and I totally agree about vit B. I take b complex, magnesium and starflower oil daily (I may be approaching the menopause, it is good for hormones)

I gave our son some Aspen (bach flower) last night before bed cos he was having nightmares and it worked. I sometimes take Jan de vries (spelling)? emergency remedy, do you have that.....similar to bach flower....it calms.

Years ago I trained as an aromatherapist and healer and I use, like you, t.tree. lavender, mandarin (for tummy upsets) and before bed I sometimes rub lavender on his pillow for comfort or put it on his teddys nose!!

More to come later......isnt this great to share and help eachother.....

Hi sue,

Youre welcome.
Well, I think you are seeing the confident face of a Cappy rising. Underneath it all, I'm a big baby. In some situations I can be perfectly confident, alot of others, not so much.

Sorry, I dont have much to add about the flower essences. Dont know enough about them yet.

Oh 26,

I think some of the flower essences would be good for you (or anyone for that matter)......aspen is for unknown fears and agrimony for known fears and you can get ones for stress and pressure and stuff....the oak is working well for me!!!

You aint no big baby.....my sis has Cappy rising and she always describes herself as reticent...if that is the right word...she hold back....whereas I with Aries asc jumps straight in.....as you errrr......know LOL...

If I can help at all...just ask.....

Love you

I use:

Aspen - overcoming hidden fears and anxiety; for trust and faith in the unknown, connetion with the spiritual realm

Larch - overcoming self-censorship and lack of confidence; for creative expression, spontaneity and faith in own's talents/voice

Gentian - overcoming fear of failure and self-doubt; for perservence and faith in oneself

Wild Oat - overcoming confusiona nd indesicion about life path, restlessness; for expression of one's true calling

Walnut - overcoming limiting influences from social expectation, family or past experiences; freedom to pursue one's inner path and to make healthy life trtansistions

I have also used Star of Bethelhem, Oak, Rock Water and the Five Flower Remedy in the past.

I need to get another booklet on the essences, because I've lost mine. I have to research which ones would be best for me rightnow - the ones I have been using are the combination I've been using for the past two years. Ideally you should change essences as your life changes and new challenges present themselves.

Hi Sue G!

I have had my set since the late 80's and have hauled them around for years!

Do you think they are still "good"?

Thanks for the site, sue. I looked at the recomendations for the signs, and it was interesting. I have been considering trying cerato and water violet, and they recommend that for gemini and Aqua (my chart is heavily Uranian). I once thought about trying Rock Rose, which they recommend for pisces, my moon sign.

I need to do something to help me get through my job ordeal - I'm working two jobs, both with irregular schedules, and one I am having a lt of strress and anxiety (to the point I'm having bad dreams) because some of my coworkers are cliquish, self-serving and back-stabbing. I'm the new peson there and I'm just ytrying to stay out of those individual's way, but findign that hard. I think being "freed from outside influence" might be helpful, so I htink I'll try cerato. I probably need something for anxiety too - there's several essences for that, I just need to discern which would be best for this particular situation.

I forget that I used Cherry Plum in the past. It's a good one. I think i consider using that again too.
