It should be legal for anyone who wants to use it.It's my body. What I put into or do with my body should not be a choice made by a government. Period. God/dess created everything for us to use as we will. Did God/dess create trees to be used as paper? DidGod/dess create cows to be used as hamburger? Horses to stand in stalls and pee, so that pee can be used as hormone replacements? Of course S/he did. Or maybe not.  ------------------

I see nothing wrong with Marijuana. Although, i would have to say that children should not be exposed to it at an age earlier than 12. I believe, and have been told that the use of it in a child does not allow the brain to develop properly and the receptors in the brain fail to develop, never making proper connections in latter life. I do however see something wrong with Alcohal and would have to agree with Lotusheartone on that one. Alcohal is far more dangerous than marijuana. Alcohal is responsible for majority of domestic violence disputs, its involved in most crimes (if not hard drugs are), you got drunk driving with alcohal where with marijuana you got some slow poke thinking hes driving faster than he really is. You've got innocent victims being killed by drunk drivers. Marijuana has been used for ages and ages. Its got many soothing relaxing mind calming properties and its smells good to boot. Ooohh very intresting topic.....I have mixed feelings....I had very bad side effects from smoking it just 6 or 7 times (i have strong Neptune) and so did my hubbie. His brother got sick too,,,,well they called it canaibis psychosis.....but you know he could have got that anyway...nobody knows. On the plus side, I hear of people wtih MS that smoke it and get fantastic relief...and I think if someone like my stressed out Dad had a few tokes now and then, it would do him a power of good....I offered once to get him a joint and he laughed.....LOL.....he is 78..... So for me there are fors and againsts.....its bloody great for some..... but for the likes of me and others....not so great....I am still "not decided" on this one...... The only other thing I have noticed about people that smoke it a LOT.....it can make them a little...apathetic...doesnt it over time, kill brain cells?? Love and peace Sue G xxx IP: Logged |

Yes & No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!YES- because it has medicinal benefits and it is natural. NO- because more people will smoke it purely on a recreational purpose and therefore it could lead them to try harder drugs. And the result? More people becoming addicted to drugs. BUT it is up to an individual to benefit or abuse it! IP: Logged |
