I almost got run over by a snowmobiler tonight. These people continually drive over our property and do not ask permission. Tonight I thought I had one flagged down. He decided to wait until I was 3 feet behind him, and then speed off as fast as the accelerator would go. I got about 4 feet of snow on my head. I am so very sad. I just wish that these people would understand I do not want to be held liable for their ideocy. It's just common courtesy, you know if you are going to go hunting on someone's land, you ask permission. It's always right on top of the garden too. Ok I am not going to post anything violent. I am more intelligent than that, and much better than that person. It's just that it was done maliciously and deliberately. I just wanted to talk to the guy and he goes and has to be a jerk. I could have been injured if he'd thrown up a rock or something. Or a car decided to drive down the road at that point. Wish people would use their brains for thinking. I am so upset I c an't even spell right. ------------------ After silence, that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music." - Aldous Huxley IP: Logged |

Glad you didn't pee yourself when it stopped. LOLBut seriously it is a sad fact of life that we have to share this mundane world with a whole range of people. From the gross stupid to the joyfully sublime. The only value of the ignorant and the smart-arses is that they give us the opportunity to learn tolerance and forgiveness...., although I often wonder why? IP: Logged |

get some very large landscape rocks and line them up so people cannot use your property. IP: Logged |

That's a great idea, thirteen. It might take you a while, but it'd be fun to set up cameras the first time they come across 'em. My Mom as the same problem w/ dirt bikers. She has 5 acres surrounded by farmland - the local boys seem to think it's their own private playground. They've persisted even after my step-brother died from a dirt biking accident. Little creeps. Hello Goatgirl!! It's been ages! Hope you're feeling better now. I had a psycho speed after me recently - on Christmas day actually. Don't know what his problem was, he kept yelling and banging his fist against my window trying to get me to stop. In broad daylight. Those things can really shake you Well, at least I found out I have all the right moves for a stunt man if I'm ever out of a job See you around! SunShyne IP: Logged |
