in addition:~massage a lil bit of almond oil gently into that area with ring finger. ~cucumber slices over the eyes for 15 mins or so really works! make sure your skin isn't allergic tho... ~ 'pressing the mount below index finger of the palm is good for eyesight and removing dark circles' i read this one on line, haven't tried it yet. i do the pressure point for headaches and that works so i don't see why this wouldn't! ~i also found the 2 following on line and they both sound good! : Treatment 1 Take two medium size pieces of cotton wool (cotton wool eye pads) and soak them in rose water (an inexpensive product that you can buy at the pharmacy / chemist / drug store), then place the pads over your closed eyelids, while lying down. If doing this during the day, close your drapes/curtains. If doing this at night, switch off your lights. Doing this in the dark really gives you a relaxing break. Lie back and listen to relaxing music. Relax for at least 20 – 30 minutes – or 10 minutes if you want to fit this into a tea break. Treatment 2 Another soothing way to relieve the tiredness, is to take two teabags, place in a cup and pour boiling water over them. Remove the bags with a spoon after the tealeaves start giving off their color, and place them in a saucer. Cover the teabags with plastic kitchen wrap, to prevent them drying out, and place in your refrigerator to cool down. After they have cooled down, (but not too cold, apply them when too cold can cause damage) remove from the fridge and place on your closed eyelids, and relax as described above.

Hi Planet_Soul,I was just about to post that you might not be able to fix it if the dark circles are genetically inherited (my sisters, my mum (dec.), my aunty, my daughter, even my son, all have dark circles under our eyes) but then I thought that I could just be making that theory up - so I thought I'd google it. And I found, top 8 reasons for dark circles, with number one being "heredity", lol. Here's the link: http://allergies.about.com/od/darkcircles/a/aa071304.htm with love purple_scorp IP: Logged |

Thank you ladies No one else in my family has the dark circles that I know of. I've always thought its the lack of adequate sleep or my poor eating habits. Thank you for the link, I am going to check it out asap. IP: Logged |
