Hey.I have read on the net recently about people who have tried thought field therapy to get rid of anxiety and depression and traumas and I was thinking of bying books on it. This really sounds amazing. Does anyone here have any experience with it and care to share what it did for them? IP: Logged |

Hey people!Noone has heard of this...? Its like, you think of a certain event in your life, past or present which upsets you and make you feel very uncomfortable. For instance, people with phobias, for spiders, heights, crowds.... When you think about it, and visualize the event, you will experience what it does to you, the thinking of it, and you will also feel the physical uncomfyness of it. So the thing is, when you go through the things mentally that you are afraid of, your phobias, you will use your fingers to "knock" on certain places on your body. Mostly in the face. Under the one eye, between the eyes, and on top of the beginning of the littlefinger. After doing so, its supposed to get rid of the phobias immediatly. It might sound silly, I know. But I have heard people who have tried it has gotten rid of fears and phobias that they have had for many years, after only a few sessions of this therapy form. That is really nice. I mean, psychologists always say that the best way to get rid of phobias is to live it over and over again, and it will get better, but that is really not always the case, and it also makes you go through alot of hard stress.

Interesting.------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." Lewis Carroll IP: Logged |
