Hi everyone. I'm a recent poster. I was wondering if anyone could suggest how to clean my necklace which has a bit of "history". It's a rose quartz, moonstone, jade, amethyst and turquoise beaded necklace that was given to me by a friend. I have three very competitive and jealous sisters. One came in my room one morning after waking me up under a stupid pretext (another story), spotted the neckace and greedily "grabbed it" (didn't take it, just sort of snatched it up aggressively and "slammed" it back down on bureau--she's a very controlling Cap whose stolen clothes, boyfriends, etc. over the years). The other "volunteered" to restring it unbeknownst to me when I left it at my mother's to have it restrung. When I tried to get it back after a bad fight with 2nd sister, she refused and instead cut it up, leaving only beads.I know she only restrung it so she could wear it. Both sisters appropriate/steal, whatever you want to call it. Anwyay, I was really sad about this. I considered it a future marital necklace and always felt so beautiful and alive when wearing it. My question really is should I clean it? Is cold water and salt enough? And can those bad vibes be removed? I've dealt w/jealousy, manipulation, competition from women (esp in family) for a long time and I feel very isolated and sad sometimes because of it. Any feedback both practical or philosophical would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. I'm a double pisces BTW w/Leo rising. IP: Logged |

dont use salt on moonstone!it dulls it... string them and pass them thru smoke from a smudge stick or incense, possibly redesigning it with some other beads, to make it into a new item. If you enjoy making stuff its a good way to put good energy back into the piece. your resident jewellery maker and crystal buff, Aqua Pix IP: Logged |

Funkyaquarianpixie,Thank you so much for your reply. I will smudge like you said and maybe add a new stone. It's a beautiful necklace! IP: Logged | |
