Hi guys. Do any of you have much experience with Emotional Freedom Technique and the tapping of unwanted emotions.I have discovered this recently and I have to say the effects arw quite remarkable. I do have to learn more though as I want to get to the very bottom of a lot of deep-seated repressed emotions. If anyone can tell me the most effective way to use EFT for more complicated matters I would be most grateful. Also, in a broader sense, what other method are suggested for low self-esteem and childhood abuse trauma? Thanks, Swerve IP: Logged |

Hi SwerveI havent tried EFT but many others forms of healing... One of the most effective ones for me has been Shaman healing....WOW...the effects of that were astounding,,,and I hardly feel the same woman as I was just a year ago..... I had locked away some things so deeply, I know without the help of another, these things would still be buried deeply within me.... Other treatments I experienced have been reiki (I found that brilliant), colourhealing, psycotherapy, counselling, rebirthing, release therapy, spiritual healing, hypnotherapy and others.... Good luck with this Swerve and let us know how it goes... xxx IP: Logged |

Thanks Sue. I like the sound of Shaman healing, I'll investigate.Reiki has been linked to my destiny more than once by mediums and I think I'll end up practising some sort of healing in the future. For now it's a hobby that I use on myself as a guineau pig. Swerve IP: Logged |

The thing I like about the Shaman healer I have visited Swerve, despite the fact I only had three sessions is my God she helped turn my life around...She told me that I had the last third of me to open up and on doing this my life would change.....IT HAS...... I am far more confident in every way.....and letting go of all that childhood stuff has given me a sense of peace.... The thing I struggle with is day to day pressures rather than the deep inner wounds, if you get my meaning... IP: Logged |

Hey swerve.I deeply recommend flower essences, and vibration remedies. They are all about healing blocked energy centers in our chakras, and relase the old and give a natural normal float of your own energy. It goes into your own soul and body and works on YOU. There are so many different essences, and what might work for one person, might not work for another. We all react different to it. So the best thing is to go and see a therapist who can do a test on you, called StillPoint method. Where she or he will give you the correct essence that your system/aura really wants and needs. I just thought I had to share this with you, since I had such a good experience with it. I feel I am finally moving forward and coming out of my shell. There is one page with essences from a serie called "Bush", from australia. www.ausflowers.com.au and here you could read about what they do for certain areas and themes. And for childhood traumas they have this essence called "fringed violet", which heals the aura, and I am using that one for the same problem. They also have for low self esteem "confid combination essence" I hope it will help.

Swerve,Could you tell me what "Emotional Freedom Technique" is all about, please? sue g, I'm with you on the psychotherapy part. I personally would recommend psychotherapy, and there are many types of them, so you will have to work out with your psychiatrist or psychotherapist whether you are "fit enough" mentally to undergo such a treatment now and then, which type to use. Psychoanalysis can be also taken into consideration if warranted. Then again, it is fundamental to make sure you find a good, ethical, competent, intuitive therapist whose "chemistry" matches with yours. Otherwise it just never happens. As for hypnotherapy...I haven't been well-acqainted with it yet, so I can't make any useful suggestion for that, sorry. sue g if you could be kind enough to make a "briefing" about it to me before I finally got time to read books about hypnotherapy? Whose book should I have a look? So far I've only been focusing on psychoanalysis, psychotherapies and psychopharmacology. Thanx. ------------------ May not be able to get back to you...appreciate your say nevertheless...D IP: Logged |

Dear SwerveI am a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist, Healer and HypnoBirther and am now in the process of becoming an EFT Practitioner. I am a great believer in being in tune with the Universe and logged onto this website for the first time for months and the first thing that caught my eye was your message. i have just come back from a weekend EFT course and I believe that it could really help you. I have seen how really deep rooted pain and memories can be released from the body's energy system and emotional freedom obtained very quickly. I have seen phobias cleared within minutes, but obviously with a condition such as yours it would take longer, but not as long as having pyshotherapy or counselling, (please don't think I am knocking these therapies). I thought Hypnotherapy was quick, but it has nothing on EFT. If you can't get to an EFT practitioner you can be helped over the 'phone. Have you gone to Gary Craig's website? You can download his manual for free and you can buy his instructional DVSs. This is what I did, then I signed up for classes. I have used it on myself and have cleared so much emotional rubbish and pain although I still have lots more to clear. Everyone I know who uses it can't praise it enough. I hope this helps God Bless Angelheart IP: Logged |

So sorry for not replying earlier! For those who wish to initiate themselves with EFT the best site for this is http://www.emofree.com/ Basically, the principles are similar to Reiki in that it works on the body's energy system, along which emotions are generated and stored. Through tapping certain points in the body and performing some rather bizarre techniques you can tap into and balance the energy system of the body and release the "stuck" emotions. This doesn't mean that you forget the experience the feelings are related to, but it dissolves the "emotional charge" and allows you to focus on and work through the problems without unessecary impediment. It really really works. Angelheart - I would really like to discuss this in more depth with you please. Can I have your e-mail addy? Swerve IP: Logged |

Hi Swerve, I'm not familiar with EFT, but have had alot of success with something called "Craniosacral Therapy" or CST. It is a type of gentle bodywork that helps with a number of physical ailments and brings up and releases past emotional trauma as well. My doctor prescribed it for my tension headaches. It not only worked very well in relieving them, I was amazed to find it helped with childhood issues, too. Might be worth your while to look into.
