Take in massive amounts of MSM, you need those sulfur bonds. www.rawfoods.com do a search and it can be sent to you by post. How are your iron & protein level? Are you vegetarian or vegan? If you are make sure you eat plenty of greens. Vitamins that assist hair and nail growth are Vitamin A, B6, C and Zinc. Could it be a deficiency??? What about your family history? Your parents or grandparents lose hair? My partners hair was thinning, and I started giving him head massages to increase blood flow to the head, and now it seems there is more hair there! Just some ideas for you. IP: Logged |

Is there a chance you have Polycystic ovarian symdrome? This can cause suddeen and rapid scalp hair loss in some women, among other symptoms. I have PCOS and started losing my hair very suddenly about a year ago. I made changes to my diet (went low carb/low GI) and used Rogaine for a while. Now the hair loss has stopped and the hair I lost is growing back - which is a little annoying right now since most of that hair loss was right on the top on my head, and the newer regrowth is much, much shorter than the rest of my shoulder length hair. This is very noticeable on humid days. But at least it's growing back. Her's a short list of the main symptoms of PCOS: - Irregular or absent menses - Numerous cysts on the ovaries in many, but not all, cases - High blood pressure - Acne - Elevated insulin levels, Insulin Resistance, or Diabetes - Infertility - Excess hair on the face and body - Thinning of the scalp hair (alopecia) - Weight Problems or obesity that is centered around your mid section Here's some info on PCOS: http://www.womens-health.co.uk/pcos1.asp
This site lists the early and later symptoms of PCOS, but you have ot click the 2nd and 3rd pages ofr that list: http://www.webmd.com/hw/womens_conditions/tw9105.asp IP: Logged |

Biotin is a great vitamin for hair. Also, conditioning with a great product helps as well.IP: Logged |
