Topic: request for healing for my Dad

My Dad is in a very bad way...He says if it wasnt for me talking to him, he would kill himself  My mother's death has hit him vey hard and my sister is refusing to speak to him, so he only has me to talk to.. His name is Des....would you mind guys sending him some light and strength... I am also feeling very pressured by this and have little emotional support around me... Thanks... God bless  IP: Logged |

Thanks ladies...I have suggesteed he tries mediation in a group..... He is trying to pray but says it isnt working... He probably needs guidance with this? He says he gives up on people So I said to him "then try and tune into the higher power" He said he would try IP: Logged |

sue g, I know that you know a lot of healers, and prefer a holistic approach to healing. Perhaps he would consider visiting some of them? Or at least consider some herbal help? A body detox might be just the ticket to get him on the path to emotional healing. I've done detoxes, including the "Master Cleanse," which is also known as the lemonade diet. You fast for a recommended 10 days, drinking only fresh lemonade made with grade B maple syrup, while also cleansing your colon (where all sorts of toxins build up). In a very short period of time it takes you to a place of calm focus where you feel lighter, easier in your skin, and just...happier. You can read the entire book (which is very short) online. If you can convince him to do it, it might help. Just a suggestion, and of course, there are other detoxes around, too, that include a program of raw foods and fresh juices. ------------------

Many thanks ladies...for the tips and support...very much appreciated..trill...my Dad is so stubborn with regards to diet and stuff....but its so nice to have these suggestions...most kind  Inlove and castle (welcome btw)...Thankyou...those words of comfort really helped... hi sue g-I am praying for your dad and you as well.
He sounds maybe a little stubborn.
He should seek some professional help
for his depression. Not trying to be harsh-
but he needs to be strong for his daugther and grandson.He has alot to be thankful -
alot of people never have a family-let alone
grandchildren.help him to see there is alot

I hope this is not presumptious: You and your dad might find that you get closer than you ever realized and you could lean on each other. Here is Love and Support.
sue g, I second that Master Cleanse/lemonade diet for you dad, it truly has it's effects and I am sending some anti-stubborn vibes so that he might consider it. Also, artistic pursuits also help the mind to get into a "calm focus", perhaps a "manly" one like proper wood carving (more than whittling).IP: Logged |
