My Dad lives in another state, I got a call tonight from his friend who wanted to let me know he has been admitted to hopsital.

He's has a lot of health problems due to long term smoking, drinking, eating bad and doing naughty things when he was younger. He found out a few years ago he has something wrong with a vessel in his brain. I don't know what it is exactly but it needs to be operated on and he doesn't want brain surgery because he feels he wont make it through. He'd rather wait and die naturally.

I've never thought about it because he seems so strong and resilient ...I could imagine him living a long life, but now this has scared me a lot.

Thankyou. He came out of the op ok... The nurse let me speak to him while she held the phone, I told him how much I love him and let him rest. I spoke to him yesterday and he sounded so much better. I think he'll pull through alright. I read his stars yesterday and it said he has a guardian angel watching him...how timely. I was so grateful he was around people when he collapsed.
He'll be fine now.
