Im sorry for disturbing you guys here, but I have been so anxious and depressed lately. And I know a major part of it is still that relationship but I know it could be better. It was better for some time. I just need a better control of my emotions. I have NO clue how to control them. (Scorpio moon first house conj pluto and opposing jupiter). I just wish I knew because it shows up physically and my acid reflux is back and I fear it will turn into an ulcer. And im just getting sicker and I know its from all the emotions and I dont know how to put a lid on it so to say. Can anyone please help me out give me some ideas? Positive energy very welcome. Thank you all so much, I just dont know who else to ask.

Ohhh, BUD! You know I've been there, seriously been there. Not the exact same physical symptoms but it all comes from the same thing.

#1. Meditate! You have NO IDEA how much this will help.
#2. If you drink coffee, reduce it and then quit it if you can. This will reduce your anxiety and the acid reflux.
#3. Try chamomile tea to relax you and aid your digestive system.
#4. Use lavender oil to relax, and it will ease any palpitations.
#5. Talk to someone about where your anxieties are coming from.
#6. Think about your feelings - why do you feel this way? How did you get to this point? What is the feeling BEHIND the feeling? Again, talk about it.
#6. If you can't remove your anxiety, then if necessary, remove the cause of your anxiety.

I can talk you through a simple relaxation and meditation exercise if you like.

Born Under...
Fear us usually behind all negetive emotion.
"Of what" is the root of the emotions.

Go somewhere where you can screem and curse as loud as you can.

Is your post name negetive?

Try to read "The Law of Attraction" by Jerry and Ester Hicks. It's about how we attract what we think.

Say to yourself everyday "Good things come to me." If you keep saying it as often as possible, you will attract things that will make you happy. But you have to put positive emotion behind the affirmation! You can't just say it and think to yourself "Yeah right!"
Pray for peace of mind.
Yes, meditate.
If your life is very busy, cut some of the activity and somehow do something for yourself. A bath, read, pick flowers... anything you can think of that will change your thinking even if it's only for a short time.

If you ask the universe or God, whomever, for something positive and EXPECT it to come to you, it will. In some form or another. Look out for any sings that even remind you of the things you asked for. If I were you, I'd ask for peace. (But I'm not you.)

I can only give you this advice because I've been there!
I wish you the very best.

Artlovesdawn, I think we are in a paralle universe. I have digestive problems which I think are caused by worry. I have to keep a very strict diet and that does not even help some times.

I agree with Gem, Born!! Meditate!!
It is very good for ones soul and wellbeing. :buddah:

I also agree with PHil. SCREAMING AND CURSING can be a good release of negative energy.

Love and Light to you, Born! the Best to you.

I also agree with Philbird.

Visualisation, manifestation, positive energy. In fact I found an online worksheet thing yesterday that helps you "re-program" your thoughts through alternative visualisation of events that have caused you to feel bad. I did it yesterday and thought it was very effective. I'll find it and post the link for you.

BUD, so sorry I can't find the link! But I'll type out the method for you instead.

Focus in your mind what you are feeling. What is the event that happened to cause this feeling? Write it down/type it out in as much detail as you can, describing the event and exactly how you felt. Feel and experience everything about it so that it's vivid in your mind (touch, smell, taste, etc). Focus on describing your exact feelings.

Now think back to an earlier time (relatively recent) when you felt this way. Again, describe the event that made you feel this way in as much detail as possible and exactly how you felt, and keep everything vivid in your mind.

Do this again with an even earlier time.

And again with an earlier time before that.

And now with your earliest possible memory of when you felt this way. ie the earliest time in your life that you had these feelings.

Finally, integrate these memories into one - what are the common themes and feelings?

NOW IT'S TIME TO REVISUALISE. In this next part, you will revisit those memories and REWRITE THEM in your subconscious.

Start with your earliest possible memory - ie the last one you described above. Instead of visualising what happened, rewrite your memory. If you could have complete control of what happened that day/at that time, how would it be instead? Visualise what you WANT to happen, it can be your wildest fantasy of what you want for that memory. On a scale of 0-10 happiness factor, it should reach a 10. Your rewritten memory/visualisation/fantasy can be WHATEVER YOU WANT. There are no limits at all to how GOOD this visualisation should make you feel. Write down/type out everything about it, and focus on describing your feelings as these good things happen to you. When you are finished, surround your mental image of this good event and feeling with a sphere of white light, breathe deeply several times, and integrate it into yourself, at your anchor point. Tell yourself, "this is how I will feel, act, and be from now on."

Repeat this process for the second to last memory you described. You are now rewriting each memory in reverse order.

Now do it for the third last memory you described.

Keep going until you get to the most recent memory.

Now integrate all of these new images into one. Write/type out the common themes. What is the same about each of these? What is the common feeling? Now integrate these good feelings into yourself with white light and deep breathing as above.

You have now completed the process of subconsciously replacing what happened and the good images are now in your subconscious mind.

I found this to be a really good exercise, and it also allows you to analyse what was really going on with you at a deep level when the bad events occured, and how it is that you need to feel, so I hope it helps you!

Artlovesdawn - Thank you so very much. I sometimes do go through periods when I get the courage break the pattern and then everything is okay again but other times it just keeps going and goin (im currently 19). Thank you so much for the avice

Philibird - I noticed a very interesting thing about me, sometimes i doze of and daydream abotu something negative and it can be so vivid that I feel as if it actually did happen and yet I cannot put the same principle of complete concentration into meditation. I wish i could I definately do try. I also try to stay positive which seems awefully hard to do for any length of time when things pop up and upset me. The problem is I do not think my life is BUSY enough. I think it needs to become more busy so I stop thinking about problems that much. I do sometimes whind up in a state where I ask God for something good and believe in it and it all becomes clear but that never lasted more than a month or two at a time. Thank you so much, I do ask for peace. Quite often it just doesn't seem to come. Or it does and I ruin it...I don't know...My stress is tied to my relationship and the logical thing is to end it but I keep thinking that maybe the stress in my relationship is because of other underlying issues. Thank you a ton

Bluemoon- Its these times i wish I didn't live in a huge city with tons of neighbours. LOL that does help. But i feel the need to get away and just go somewhere. Too bad no such luck currenly. Thank you for the wishes, it means a lot to me.

GeminiLover - thank you soooooo very much! I will definately try that and I hope it works. I know you understand where all the stress comes from and all this stuff that gets us down. Meditation definately should help. Thank you so much.

Thank you all so very very much for answering. I absolutely love this forum and am SO greateful to have found it because it certainly made things better. The people here are amazing and just the atmosphere rocks. Definately gave me a better outlook on things. Thank you all very much again! Tons of love and best wishes to all. I will definately try meditation

Hey BUD, I'll give you a basic relaxation technique that moves seamlessly into meditation.

Sit in a quiet place. It's best on the floor with your legs crossed but that's not necessary. It also helps to rest the tips of your fingers together to balance your energies. I usually point the thumbs upward to my navel area.

Close your eyes and slow your breathing, in and out. Breathe in your through nose and out through your mouth. Instead of breathing into your lungs, try to draw the breath down into your stomach. When you do this, let go of all tension in your stomach muscles and feel your tummy moving as you breathe.

Now imagine that you are breathing into your right leg. As you breathe in, visualise your leg expanding, and as you breathe out, visualise it getting smaller. Do this many times, maybe between 5 and 10 times. Then repeat with your left leg.

Now repeat the process with your right arm.
And then with the left arm.

Do the same thing with your stomach area.

Now do it imagining your head expanding as you breathe in, and contracting as you breathe out.

Finally, visualise that you are breathing in from the centre of your forehead, into the middle of your brain. I find that this part of the relaxation technique is what leads me into the meditational state. Don't count how many times you do it, this just keep going without thinking about it. If your mind wanders, let it, and it will come back to the breath.

You could also introduce a mantra to repeat, but I find that the breath is enough. A nice one for you might be "Om shanti shanti shanti".

http://www.wildmind.org/meditation/mantra/shanti.html

The vibrations of "Baba nam kevalam" are also nice. It means "love is all there is". The consonant sounds resonate very well.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u6G2Xjcg2ZI (I find it a little weird that this link contains breakdancing! But it shows you how to pronounce this Sanskrit phrase).

When you're finished, slowly open your eyes. Sit there for a while. You should probably wriggle your toes or shake your hands around at this point to ground yourself again and get back to normal consciousness. Make a herbal tea or something, and have something to eat. At this point you are now refreshed and relaxed!

Born Under.
Like all things, the suggestions mentioned take practice! If you are asking whether it's you or the relationship, that is a clear sign from yourself, God Source etc., you need to consider YOU are responsible for whom, and what you attract to your life.
Remember, this is YOUR life and you are responsible for creating your own happiness.
People, places and things are not going to make you happy if you don't already know what happiness is. (It starts with respect, honor and love for yourself).
A simple saying, "Good things come to me" or "I'm worthy of happiness" said everyday will eventually take form, even if you don't believe it now. (It's a life long commitment to you, and takes longer than a month!)
So..... Just DO it!
The physical symptoms aren't fun. Google acid reflux and check out naughty foods. Especially caffine, chocolate, smoking, drinking. Try a calcium suppliment for the belly.
Oh yeah, therapy doesn't hurt!
