recently (last few weeks) i have had an insatiable appetite. i will just eat everything in sight, can't stop myself, i never even register a feeling of fullness. someone help, its scaring me! i wish to gain control of what i eat once more. im still in the slim to healthy weight range but i need control!if it matters i am Sun- Libra Ascendant- Taurus Moon- Libra Mercury- Libra Venus- Libra Mars- Gemini any help would be greatly appreciated! you may be still missing nutrients that your body is craving, but might still be lacking un your diet. has it been that many weeks, or is it a PMS thing.... could you possibly be pregnant?try drinking lots of water when the appetite monster hits- that may help. I notice my body goes in cycles- sometimes it seems like all I do is EAT EAT EAT, but then there are times when I seem to eat nothing at all. Do you exercise? this can curb fears of weight gain. Are you very stressed? Don't be hard on yourself.... being overly concerned about it causes more mental stress, which can lead to more overeating. MK IP: Logged |

Are you eating processed and highly processed foods? There are ingredients that are intended to make you addicted, and to go into that "unconscious eating" trance, where you eat, and eat, and eat without thinking about it much.Chances are if you are eating all fruits and veggies in sight, you would not be worried. If you see HFCS (high fructose corn syrup) on the list of ingredients...throw it out. Your body cannot register satiety when eating HFCS. If you see "natural ingredients" on the list, throw it out. There's nothing natural about natural ingredients. It's a clever way of hiding things like MSG. There are other ways MSG is hidden. There are lots of articles on the web about it. MSG is also highly addictive. Choose good whole foods. Read the ingredients. Educate yourself on nutrition. A good site where you can begin to learn some of the things to avoid is Dr. Mercola's. SixWise can also have value. Visit the Westin Price site. A general rule: if it's white, don't eat it. That goes for bread, pasta, etc. Best of luck. ------------------ Everything feels possible. Could it have to do with the transits? I've noticed that when Moon is in certain sign(s) I tend to feel more hungry.I find this thread imformative. IP: Logged |
