Just thought I'd share it with you all. I'm so blessed to be able to have these foods, eating them everyday has given me such massive health abundance. I feel I could vibrate off the planet after eating these foods.

1.) Goji Berries

2.) Cacao Beans (where all chocolate comes from)

3.) Spirulina

4.) Coconut Oil (raw, cold pressed)

5.) Durian fruit

6.) Wheatgrass

7.) Young Thai Coconut Water

8.) Maca root

9.) Manuka Honey

10.) MSM (organic sulfur)

Most people I know usually eat the same 10 foods, like wheat, corn, pototo, meat, sugar, ect... just in different forms.
Once you add in something radically different, it literally transforms your entire consciousness. Adding in berries, sea vegetables, sprouts, opens up a whole new world and it slowly pushes out the boring old food that we lived on most of our lives. And then we literally feel & think differently. Its so amazing.

SunChild - Are these your main staples or do you use them as supplements to other foods? Also, how long did it take for you to notice a difference by eating these? A lot of your list are items I have been wanting to add in to my own daily routine - especially goji berries.

Thanks for sharing your info!

I usually eat them everyday. Fruit and veg are my staples, along with some nuts and seeds. And then I'll have superfoods for protein, b12, iron, ect...

You can notice the difference almost immediately, goji berries boost your protein levels and give you a massive hit of the b vitamins, making you feel really energized.

Cacao is instant too.

I mix most of those ingredients into 1 smoothie. That's a meal!

Thanks SunChild,

I love your list. It sounds delicious!

I think it would be a good idea to figure out what my own top 10 superfoods are...that'll be fun.

Do they taste good together?

I found a recipe that includes a few items on your list:

Chocolate Nut-Milk Recipe
1 liter (4 cups) of coconut water
20 cacao beans (preferably peeled)
10 raw cashews
3-5 tablespoons of carob powder and/or maca powder
3-5 tablespoons of honey and/or agave cactus nectar
2 tablespoons of hempseed oil
2 tablespoons of coconut oil/butter
2-3 pinches of sea salt (preferably celtic sea salt or Himalayan pink rock salt)
2-3 sprinkles of cinnamon

Blend all ingredients, drink, and arrive back on Earth in about 2 hours!

That sounds dee-lish!

Yes it does taste good. (to me ) I wouldn't recommend it to someone who has never had these foods though, tastes buds have to adjust to raw foods.

That looks like a David Wolfe recipe! I've made that one. Yum!

so, not to sound naive, but these aren't things that are commonly found at a grocery store?...or at least health food store?

and how expensive are they? that is the number one concern, as I am a broke college student.

don't get me wrong, I spend extra to eat well, but I have my limits too.

I get most of it from a health food store... and I order cacao from a website.

I probably spend $150 Aus per month on superfoods..and $100 Aus per week on fresh produce. That's more than some people can afford I admit. When I was studying & single 7 years ago I didn't have this luxury.

It does cost a bit extra, and the more you want the more you will have to spend.

My priority is superfood before fashion/movies/music ect... Some of us have different priorities. If I come into some extra cash I'm already at the health food store!

It is! I've just discovered him from browsing the Sunfood site.

Carlfloydfan ~ If you are single, a lot of health food stores are now carrying berries, cacao, and other items like grains and nuts in bulk so you can get only the amount you need. You can search online for a lot of the items if your local store is too expensive. The Sunfood site is a bit on the spendy side, and I've seen those items for less elsewhere. Of course, there may be a difference between the items - like goji berries from Mongolia versus from Tibet.

You will naiad... I know you are passionate about food too.

I try to be healthy as possible, sometimes (only sometimes) i am not disciplined and go for treats that are full of sugar and fat ... I used to beat myself up with guilt, but now I eat it smiling, because I released the guilt and know that every decision I make is a conscious one, and I own the choices I make..therefor I released all negative emotions I had about food.
If that makes sense....I dunno.

The main things is, that I believe eating a chocolate cake and feeling good is much healthier than eating it and filling our bodies up with guilt and fear.

Omg That's so awesome Neferemi!

Go ahead, chuck them all in a smoothie with a vegan "mylk" and let me know when you return to earth.

Btw, are you female?

Maca is excellent for balancing female hormones...and also, for male and females, is an excellent aphrodisiac...mixed with cacao and you will have a super-potent love elixir!
You should have a partner if you eat those two foods in large quantities.

Yes, SunChild, I am female! I don't have a boyfriend currently, and I haven't wanted to have another one here as I'm moving out-of-state in two weeks... Hopefully I'll find someone who also eats maca & cacao so we'll be balanced!

So far I really love the goji berries and the cacao. My niece tried the cacao and freaked out because "it smells so good, like normal chocolate, but it doesn't taste anything like a candy bar!" It's not so unusual to me because I've been trying to eat better/whole/raw foods for years.

I haven't mixed it all up yet... maybe tomorrow.
