I just found this site perhaps it will provide some valuable information for you?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nausea Either way, I do have previous experience with this very same issue... Though my experience became very costly when only a simple fix was necessary. It took many trials, experiments, and guesses from doctors as well as costly expenses physically and emotionally. At one point I actually had a quack doctor diagnose me with Acute Intermittant Porpheria, [a rare blood disease] that I did not have... only to actually discover that I was having an allergic reaction to a very common plant/bush growing outside my home [Oleander] these were planted around my home and are highly toxic to many -though they are very pretty.
I only knew that every morning I was very nauseous... No swollen eyes, no sneezing,
just very ill, and sometimes this led to vomitting.
I eventually moved to an area without these common plants and no longer experienced this morning ritual.
The way we narrowed down that is was in fact an allergy was that when I went to work several miles away the symptoms seemed to dissapate.
When I went on vacation to another town for a few days or more the symptoms completely vanished. I was only ill in and around my home area [NOTE: most plants do cycle changes in the morning]
I too considered perhaps that it may be stress related as it seemed to worsen with stressful/depressive times. But what I had'nt realised until recently was that during these times it is also natural to sleep more and/or keep oneself closed up at home more.
Between the here and there, I found the drink 7up to be an invaluable tool for subsiding this nausea. Sprite, Mountain Dew, etc. DO NOT WORK! Only the real deal as in 7up [it tastes best ice cold].
Also important to note: Allergies are aquired as we age, it is entirely possible that a few years ago you became allergic to something that you formally enjoyed without any recourse at all. Or that something new was added to your environment at this time.
Feather pillows, comforter, an animal, plant, perfume, or food. The sky is the limit.
I hope that this helps you on your path to recovery from this terrible situation.
