Since I can't reach to shave I recently went and had a brazillian.
This morning I woke to find heaps of tiny red bumps on the pubic bone area, which is normal, and then later most of them turned into white heads. It looks and feels aweful. They hurt too. I don't know how to treat them, I don't want to make it worse.

Any remedies for this?

ooh... I'm sorry.
Must be very uncomfortable...

Anyways, you can use a product called Bikini Zone with pretty good results. You can get it at any CVS or Rite Aid.

Diaper rash cream also works really well and you most likely already have this on hand.

Personally I've never tried the following product but I have heard amazing things about it: http://www.productjunkies.com/noscreamcream.htm

Good luck to you!

hey sun child
in india we mostly wax not shave. this normally does not happen but i think that whoever waxed u pulled tooo hard. the pubic area is anyways too sensitive. if the hair is not pulled out in the right way(or rather speed) it either breaks or forms ingrowths or causes the reaction you've got. i think you should see a dermat. i'm not too sure about home remedies.

Try Polysporin on the area with the red bumps.

Here is some info I found on what (not) to do after having a Brazilian:

Avoid the sun immediately after waxing and please wear sun screen; recently waxed areas are prone to hyperpigmentation (permanent darkening of the skin) if exposed to the sun.

Avoid heavy exercise for at least 24 hours after waxing.

Avoid saunas, steam rooms, whirlpools and other heated sources for at least 48 hours.

Do not use exfoliating products (AHAs, scrubs, etc) and loofas for at least 24 hours after waxing as they might further irritate your skin.

Avoid tight clothing after waxing, especially in the waxed areas. Tight clothing may result in irritation and ingrown hairs.

Regular exfoliation may be helpful to remove dead skin so your hairs can get out above the surface of the pores and not become ingrown.

Routine waxing helps the skin get accustomed to the procedure and may minimize irritation.

Some people will experience a rash after waxing. It is not a break out and will last under a week. If this happens, apply Polysporin (NOT Neosporin) at least once a day for 3 days.

An annoying consequence of shaving and waxing -- occur when a hair curls into the skin and grows in the wrong direction, resulting in a red, irritated bump that can become infected. To help avoid ingrown hairs, I recommend using the loofah 24 hours after waxing. It helps pop the hair out of your skin to keep the skin healthy.

Owie! I hope you are enjoying it soon!

I get a brazilian regularly. I would definitely have to agree with the tips BlueTopaz124 posted.

I started getting them because I have huge problems with ingrowns when I shave. It is lessened with waxing, but not completely eliminated. Good tips to minimize would be to exfoliate regularly (except for the 24 hours after the wax). And, I also use this product that my wax lady suggested that helps promote the exfoliation and minimize ingrowns. It is called Vanish.

The No Scream Cream posted is amazing. Though, it is mostly for numbing your skin prior to waxing. I forgot to use it once and realized really quick how effective it is. It won't make it completely painless, but it does help. So does taking 2 Aleve / Tylenol 45 minutes before. And, getting waxed regularly... The longer the hair, the more painful it is (or atleast seems).

I haven't tried the polysporin. I will have to go to the drug store and give it a try...
