I quit smoking the first week of Feb/07 of this year(coldturkey), and I havent touched another cig since. Im really happy about this, I smoked for over 6 years, and really glad about getting rid of such a nasty expensive habit. wanted to all the people who are trying to quit, to know that is VERY WORTH IT. after awhile you dont even miss or care for it anymore, and you feel a lot better.good luck to everyone trying to quit. Attagirls to both of you!!! I quit in '97 -- second best thing I ever did for myself Cigs are over $4.00 per pack now!!!! I used to smoke a pack a day, and that "extra" money in the pocket is much appreciated to spend on other things..... Don't mean this to sound snobbish (reformed ex-smokers are the worst ), but I look at smokers sucking on their tobacco now, and I feel the same pity/compassion that I do for a heroin addict. I guess we all quit, or die from it, in our own time..... We got off the Evil Cancer-Sticks!!! Go, Us!!! It's hard, but it CAN be done IP: Logged | |
