I'm talking about the 'phenomenon' of receiving energy/healing/etc via the internet.

On a site I used to go to, there was a picture that had been charged with reiki, tachyon, and some other kind of energy. You could only access this energy when you were logged in to the forum, and not if you were simply viewing as a guest. The idea was to meditate on the picture and say "I am now receiving the energies in this picture" or "I am now receiving the reiki energy in this picture", or whichever one of the energies you wanted to receive. Many people would post their responses, with some experiencing things like tingling, burning, energy rush, and yet some people not experiencing much. I myself experienced a nice energy and my face got warm.

On the same site, I was part of a group where we would pool our energies, so to speak, to manifest things like healing, positive changes in our lives etc. Whenever I logged in to that part of the site, which was supposed to be an energy matrix, I could feel it in my third eye - and when I talked to my friend who was online at the same time and we posted prayers etc together, we would feel each other's good energy.

On a reiki site that I visited yesterday, I was simply visiting and reading the information - when suddenly I felt a rush of energy and my crown started tingling. I got such a surprise I quickly shut the page down! Later, I asked the woman who runs the site if there was some energy on her site, and she confirmed that every page on the site was charged with reiki and that people could visit anytime they wanted to receive healing. Furthermore, that night, I found that I was able to send healing to myself - like there was still some reiki in me after I had inadvertently received it from the site.

When I discussed this with Mr Gemini, he said that this could not be true. I know that logically, it doesn't make sense. How can anyone receive energy from a page on a website? I've received distant reiki and distant healings and light before, and I always know when it's been done. I know that pictures can be placed on purple plates to have an effect over distance. But how can this work via a digital interface? I'm confused... or do these things appear to have an effect on me because I just have a vivid imagination?

Thoughts, anyone?

I think it's probably easier to charge a website page with energy than regular paper, just because there is electricity involved. It's funny that I believe that because I have no experience with Reiki at all. I guess I come by that idea somewhere between "anything is possible" and the fact that we are all on this site mainly studying how certain symbols affect our lives everyday.

Letters are symbols and yet, if you string them together a certain way, you can send communication with them. So I say, why not?!! And, if you don't mind, can you share this wonderful Reiki website address with me, I could use some good energy

Last but not least, I think that if you can trust anything, you can trust your own reactions, you said that you felt it in your very own crown chakra, so I would trust that.

If you do experience a pressure around the head and crown chakra, this is only because mental and emotional healing is required and if you allow the healing to take place is will quickly pass and the pressure will go. The healing I do is ONLY ever in the highest good of anyone, therefore there really is no need to feel threatened by it.
