A while ago I was posting about a back injury and what homeopathic remedies I could use. Well my back has now improved a lot, but the most obvious problem to me is muscle spasms in my shoulders. I've been going to physiotherapy, using arnica, and also using crystals and stuff. I'm making progress and things are improving, which is great! But I keep falling back into a negative attitude that "I won't get better". So basically, I'm interested in finding Bach Flower remedies that can help me to be more positive.

First I'm drawn to Olive, mostly because I feel so tired - a lot of the tiredness is from dealing with the soreness of my shoulder muscles, especially when I'm working at the computer (it goes away when I'm not working). So, just dealing with the aches and pains on a daily basis wears me out and I feel like Olive would lift that away from me.

Possibly that's all I need because if I don't feel so physically and mentally tired then I'll feel better overall... but if there's another Bach Flower remedy that will help me to be consistently positive, I would love to know about it!

I probably should also mention that my shoulder muscles is also where I've always carried a lot of tension, so past stresses are probably contributing to my overall condition.

And how about flower essences (not necessarily Bach Flower ones)? Does anyone have any experience of those?

The only flower essence/oil I really use is lavender. I use it mostly for relaxation and balance - I have a tendency to get too stressed about things.

I'm very interested in these Bach flowers, though. I've never heard of them before.

There should be books and pamphlets at your health food store concerning the Flower remedies... have used a few over the years. I find they work very lightly-I used to rely on Rescue Remedy a lot. RR now comes as a spray and lotion also...
