Hey Bunnies ~ its fine, lots of people have done it. It is said that 10 days is just the minimum time required on the Cleanse to recieve the benifits. For a deeper cleanse longer time fasting is needed. www.mastercleanseforum.com I'll take it one day at a time in between each 10 day goal and I'll know when to stop.
It'll be the ultimate Spring Cleanse. I'm hoping that the Sun moving into physical & powerful Aries on 20th will help me along too. I'll keep you posted. Thanx for your concern x and chocolate has never tasted as good as it has over the weekend x

Hi CaptainKirk, I cant say exactly what my dreams were about, but while I was in them/having them they were so real and meant so much in those moments. It was like my awareness was awake and was aware of itself dreaming. I was deeply asleep and aware of this~ I was in the dreams and outside them, if that makes any sense. Besides the dreams the quality and depth of my sleep was excellent per se, which is something I am looking foward to again. Did you start it already? If not start with me tomorrow 18th if you like.

Pffffft! God bless you, Rubina! I find it terribly hard to fast.

I just tried the liver cleanse, though. It was nice to eat simple fruits and vegetables for the five days, but the evening of the fifth day was a nightmare!

bunnies, I read your post about the epsom taste before I took it and I wished I hadn't. God, that was awful! My stomach didn't like it at all and kicked it back out.

The olive oil wasn't as bad to put down the ol' hatch but as my stomach was already stressed, it had put a "Closed" sign for the night. I spent the night and next morning with some bad nausea and wondering how much this cleanse really helped? They say you might experience vomiting if you have a high toxicity in your liver, but come on! Two cups of epsom salt water and 3/4 of a cup of olive oil? Of course that's going to make you vomit! Yech!

Anywho, to each their own. Some bodies just can't take that much change. I think it's great that you've gotten much from it!

NosiS! I laughed when I read your post.
It all sounds so crazy.
We are all crazy!!
But hey. That's what keeps life interesting.

I am going out chaps, to hunt down a box of Lindt chocolate truffles and a large tub of Hagen Daas Ice Cream.

I may be some time!!

Hi Rubina and Capt Kirk- did you guys do the cleanse? If so, how was it for you? I am going on day 12 myself, hope to make 14, and am nervous about weaning off, which takes like 3-4 days, lol

I really wanted to start the MC, but right now I think I'm trying to get over bronchitus. Does anyone have an opinion if this will help me get rid of the bronchitus or should I wait until I'm no longer sick?

I think you should wait. It doesn't seem very safe to throw your body off with a drastic change in nutritional intake when it really needs to reinforce its immune system to stabilize its health.

The master cleanse takes a lot of will power and energy.

Doing this now, its 4.30 pm- almost end of day 1.

Already had 8 glasses of the lemon concoction. 1 more later.

Feeling good, energetic, not hungry.

(been raw on and off for many years- I can distinguish hunger from cravings)

Salt flush tomorrow morning... hmmm... We shall see.

I'll pop in every day for the next 14 days and let you all in on how it's going. Yes 14 days! If I can make it to 10 that is I know I can keep going.

I think a positive attitude and keeping busy is the key on this one. A little walk and mild exercise wouldn't hurt either.

I'm half way through day 2 -it already feels a lot longer.

Day 1 was a success- all I had was 9 lemon, maple, cayenne drinks with spring water, 2 green teas, 2 spoons of manuka honey.

This morning I had 3 lemon drinks and I did the salt water flush. I had a positive attitude right from the beginning. I made 1 litre of salt water (2 tspoons) and drank it within 5 minutes holding my nose and telling myself it is very delicious soup.
I went to the bathroom within 20 minutes... good clean out!!! Salt water flush works!
This afternoon I had 3 more lemon drinks- and special herbal tea I made.
*astragalus, ginger, rosemary, oregano, tumeric, aloe vera, senna, buckthorn, dill fruit and liquorice root. This tea is amazing. Not hungry at all (which I didn't expect by now), I should be going to the bathroom quite regularly now too. I will be having this tea twice today, but only once before bed for the rest of the time, depending on how powerful it is. I need to find some reishi to throw in there.

I am not hungry at all today- but a slight headache is coming on. I went for a walk to my local shops and bought some cacao and acai as a treat for when I finish this in another 12 days.

Tonight I will be finishing of the remaining two drinks, more manuka honey, and another tea before bed.

I have a meeting tomorrow with a friend for superfood lunch- this might be a challenge! Luckily nothing can break my will.

I feel all blissed out.

Day 2 a success! I went for a walk regardless of how I began to feel late afternoon. I had a mega headache coming on and stomach cramps. But I toughed it out and walked on the beach with my daughter and other half, after 20 minutes I had to rush back inside to use the bathroom. What a release! I had another elmination! And then bang, no more headache! I felt fantastic, so I went to the beach again.

For the evening I had 2 more lemon drinks, manuka honey and more super tea before retiring.
This time, because I had super tea right before bed- I had poor sleep and had to wake up during the night with cramps and went to the toilet for another elimination.
Overall, it was a good day, and not at all starving!

day 3 -
Good good day today! Woke up, had another great elimination! I know you don't want to know my bowl movements but they are important part of cleansing. Without them you wouldn't detox!
4 Lemon drinks in the morning, and two more in mid-afternoon. I went out to lunch to meet a raw food friend. That was fun, we didn't eat, we just had pepper mint tea.
I did a bit of shopping and got some more supplies, unfortunately my local shop ran out of maple syrup. Grrr, but to tell the truth I am sick of it for obvious reasons, so I will wait until the morning to buy more! Tonight I will use manuka honey as a substitute.
About 1 hour ago I had a vitamin C flush, I was just reading how beneficial it is to use vitamin C while fasting to help detox all the free radicals we accumulate. So I took 3000mg with goji, pomegranate, apple, orange juice. (shot size- so not to disturb my fasting).
My energy status is good too, lots of it! Wide awake and totally not hungry.

Day 4... woot

I'm using molasses now instead of maple syrup.
Totally over the taste- body is rejecting it.
Molasses is full of iron, a bonus.

Late last night other half want to throw out old wild rocket, I couldn't bare to see it go in the bin- so yep I ate it. It's almost like grass. NO impact on my detox I don't think... About 1 hour later it came out anyway! I actually was not hungry and did not want to eat it.

I researched colonics today- getting one next week hopefully, or earlier.

This morning I had 2 lemon drinks with added ayurvedic detox herbs.
And 3000mg vitamin C flush with a shot of goji.

this is looking less like the master cleanse and more like the stephanie cleanse. lol haha

Lost 4kg...so far and skin is glowing!! Lots of energy and totally not hungry.

Molasses is yum but does not go well with lemon.

I also had aloe vera shot and another vitamin C flush...and two more lemon drinks.

I know you're not meant to but I had a commitment today and had to sit down at a lunch table...ooh nooo...so I munched on lettuce, celery and a peice of chicken... (yup, im not strictly vegan)Trust me there was no way out. I had an elimination within 4 hours! Life gets in the way sometimes. (have i broken the cleanse? I would say yes- so tomorrow is virtually day 1 again. lol)

Day 4 was almost a success.
At the moment my astragalus is brewing with cayenne and lemon. I just had a shot of aloe vera and manuka honey.

Tomorrow the program will be back to normal.

BUMP!

I'll be starting the Master Cleanse soon, probably this weekend. So happy to find this old thread~ glad you already went through this SC, though your blog is down.

These former (?) members were hilarious, I wish I had gotten to know them.

Anyway I'll let y'all know how it goes.
