Are anyone here familiar with argan oil? Heard of it, use it..?
I already did a search here on LL and was surprised to not find anything, since this oil is being raved over because of its health benefits all over the net :-)
I recently bought a bottle and use it both internally and for my skin/hair.
I'm also very active on a long hair forum, I don't have long hair yet but I'm actively growing and trying to maintain/improve my hair's health (which naturally also improves my overall health :-) and have tried a whole slew of oils for my skin and hair.
Coconut oil was up until now my all-time favorite, but the argan oil blew me away, my hair has never felt softer with any other oil, and it just disappears into my skin...
I have the occasional outbreak of acne AND dry skin, so I was at a loss about how to clean it, but using oils have been a blessing on both accounts, and the argan is so far the best I've tried :-)
Sooo... I'd like to hear what the lovely people here think of/have heard about this oil, since I read alot here and have found tons of useful information regarding health :-) (I can't believe I only used to be on the Astrology board before...)

No, sorry, I just googled it and went from there. I've also seen a couple of documentaries about it, one on Travel Channel and another I can't remember where I saw.
Apparently it has been used by the Moroccan people for thousands of years as a remedy for nearly every skin problem imaginable, either by taking it internally, putting it on externally or both. They also say it's good for hair (why I originally bought it :-) it supposedly both conditions and strengthens the hair.
As far as I know the oil is also being researched for its possible cancer prevention effects, I heard this in one of the documentaries and have found a couple of articles about it as well.
I don't really want to put up any links to any articles, personally I like to be my own source critic and I suppose others do to..
