i just had recently a bad news about something touching me personnally. no need here to explain what exactly (it won't change anything).

but since, i feel literally like a heavy weight had fallen on me: i move slowly, fearful, and most of all, i've got a massive pain in my chest (not stomach).

i interpret it as if my heart chakra was either spinning fast or shut itself. either way (i don't know which one) this pain in my chest is heavy. soooooo heavy.

my mind is usually racing and jumping from one idea to the next (probably as a defence mechanism against feelings) but since, it became impossible for me to shift my attention away from this pain.

the problem is that i don't know how to react to this pain. i guess, i need it somehow to learn something (may be to stop using my mind as a shield from feelings and deal more with what i feel on a regular basis).

but how other people react when they have a pain that doesn't go away by rationalisation?

and is it always good to try to get rid of the pain?

or some of you manage to keep the pain with them? and why? and how!?

i thought may be if i keep the pain in me for long enough, i'll get used to it, and kind of immuned.

last question concerning especially the water type... do you feel some physical pain on occasions? how do you deal with reactions from others or events that bring some pain to you? can you take the suffering in you and move on?

just had a look in Louise Hays "how to heal your life" she says, the heart represents the centre of love and security... your new thought pattern/mantra should be "MY HEART BEATS TO THE RHYTHM OF LOVE" she also says that heart problems probobly come from longstanding emotional problems, lack of joy, a hardening of the heart and belief in stress. say after me, my heart beats to the rhythm of love, my heart beats to the rhythm of love, my heart beats...

Oh you poor love. I know that pain. Something happened to me like that and I felt as if someone had punched me in the heart and my knees actually buckled.
The next day I felt as if someone had taken my heart out, given it a hard squeeze and replaced it the wrong way round.
It can be caused by a shot of adrenaline.
It's a poison and takes a few days to leave system.
Exercise helps that one.
If you feel grief stricken then may I suggest homeopathic IGNATIA, either Ignatia 6 every 4 hours or Ignatia 30 once a day.

Herbal Valerian also helps.
Your heart for whatever reason has been wounded and they take time to heal.
Mine once had a veritable hole in it that I could actually feel for a whole year.
It would be there large and tangible when I woke in the morning and would gradually close during the day only to reopen during the night.
But they are nothing if not resilient.
Be kind to yourself.

You know that crushing pain in your chest can be a symptom of heart problems. I strongly suggest you go see a physician.

Is this a physical pain or an emotional pain?

This sounds, however, like it might be a panic attack, but still go see a doctor.

no it's not physical, but emotional. it just manifest in my chest... but it's not any specific organ like the heart.
when i was a kid, sometimes i fainted - out of the blue. we checked with the doctors. for them it was partly psychological partly physical and i'm generally healthy.

If organic causes can be fully ruled out, time is the best healer for emotionally induced pain. However, if you have some really undiagnosed, and/or untreated pain, I feel herbal medicines may just help you.
