Hi Charmaine and Welcome from a fellow SA! Nice to know there is another Cape Tonian on board.I use Budeflam Aquanase but saw on a program once that you should try to pour water in your one nostril, at the same time tilting your head so that it washes out of the other nostril. I haven't tried this myself but people swear by this one. IP: Logged |

Oh used to live in Durbanville and Rondebosch myself in 90's. Try adding cayenne pepper to your tea or coffee. Virtually tasteless. Very effectiveIP: Logged |

You could try steam inhalations 2-3 times a day.For chronic problem, close one nostril, inhale slowly through the other, hold your breath for 8-10 seconds(With both nostrils closed) and then exhale through the opposite nostril. Then repeat the entire procedure through this nostril( for a total of 6-8 times).------------------ Dr A A Mundewadi, Mundewadi Ayurvedic Clinic, www.ayurvedaphysician.com E-mail:- info@ayurvedaphysician.com IP: Logged |
