Has anyone heard of, or used, EFT? (Emotional Freedom Techniques)I feel the need to share this with everyone here in LindaLand before I take a leave of absence. I have been using this technique for a variety of dis-eases on family members, and myself, for about six months, with results that are absolutely startling. Without going into detail about the particulars, I have had the most impressive results with one of my sons who regular doctors were advising medications for, an OCD type of situation. He does not need the "medications". It is the closest thing to a miracle I have experienced. Had I not seen this with my own eyes, I would not have believed that so simple a process/technique would have any great effect. But it has, and I thank God for it. I feel like crying with gratitude and happiness whenever I think about it. I have my son back, and he no longer suffers. Is anyone familiar with this? If not, I obviously highly recommend it. It is free, and it only takes seconds/minutes to administer. Walk in Peace IP: Logged |

Thanks Ra.I always wanted to take my first acupuncture but was afraid of the needles. EFT sounds great as it does not require any needle Will look in to it.

It makes sense that such techniques would work, "as we think, so we are". All we need to do if something is wrong is change our programming!IP: Logged |

It is quite amazing! Like magic! Or a miracle! Physician heal thyself! But why is it being calling a new method by some? Sounds like the Meridian/Myofascial/Trigger Point/Acupressure/Refexology-based therapies I have been using for nearly 2 decades. Add to that hands on Chiropractic. Yes these things do work! I can usually avoid taking meds, but to hear the doctors I should be on some 40+pills a day. It is a effective way to become meds free or mostly meds free! One can learn to deal with even agonizing pain. As for physical damage and or illness, I think it all helps most with anyone's attitude who have such afflictions. Then whatever can realistically heal and repair will do so faster and more extensively. With disease, injuries and so forth, it is often the depression of not being able to do things like healthy folks. This can be very hard to deal with if one was fit and athletic before. Look at the late Christopher Reeves for example, or Stephen Hawkings. I wonder if either of them employed/employ such "finger/touch" therapy? BTW, EFT is free but I see Mr.Craig is also charging for the actual lessons. I see why, as one can hurt themselves too by working the wrong points. Instruction is needed for most. quote: It makes sense that such techniques would work, "as we think, so we are". All we need to do if something is wrong is change our programming!
I will buy that concerning many non biochemical based illness, but not actual physical damage and birth defects. For example if one is missing a limb, one will not "think" up a new one. Or born without physical eyes, one will not grow them by thought. Yeah, get rabies or other things and try to think/wish such away! While real, mind over body cannot fix everything. So no, "as we think, so we are" does not apply to every bodily infirmity or disease. quote: All we need to do if something is wrong is change our programming!
I wish that were true for all situations. But logically and in reality... it is not. IP: Logged |

Ra I will be studing this next year in a neuro linguistic programming (NLP) course alongside hypnotherapy. It's the way to go regarding breaking habits and behaviours and more. Richard Bandler and John Grinder are the founders. Paul McKenna a Brittish hypnotist is using this practise as well. Very successful. It's about the emotional blockages that are contained within the body. Our behaviours and memories can be anchored into our body parts and activated to release. Also linked with chakra energy in my opinion.IP: Logged |
