Hi, I just wanted to know if you wear a crystal/gem set in jewellery (but the gem doesn't actually touch the skin as it is set in a metal)does the healing properties of a the crystal actually work just as effectively in the aura?Or does the gem/crytsal actually have to touch the skin in order for it to work?

I can't say for certain as this is not my area of expertise, but everything I have read says that the stone must touch your body. I know that if you carry a stone in your pocket, it will be helpful if you handle it many times thoughout the day. I 'd be interested to know the answer to this question as well. IP: Logged |

No. The Crystals energies are the strongest when placed directly against the skin, held in hand etc.However, that's not to say that the energies can't be felt when worn on jewelry, clothing, in your pocket, Or even in the vacinity of where you are. I recently went thru a bought of depression. Which I contribute partly to not wearing my rings like I had been in the past. Prior to doing the remodel on our house I wore them 24/7 on almost every finger. I just put some back on about a week ago and Immediatly began seeing changes. My Finaces mom use to bring Quartz with her to work. To dispel negative energies within and around her workspace. IP: Logged |
